You think you are good now....Just wait till you play....You will get crushed. I have never been, but have heard nothing but good stuff.

I am not picking on you for saying that. I used to say that myself, but my first team got crushed in a big tourney. Try to find something smaller to get your feet wet.

I diagree I think it's good to go to ultimate madness just as long as you enter the right classification. I would suggest the ROOKIE class, then you can find out how good your team is and then work on the things you need to.

I hate crowd coaching! They really need to update thier website. We just registered and we have no idea what time anything starts.

1 on 1 starts friday morning. If your not participating in that then show up Friday and you will be early. That's what we are going to do.

Top gun meeting is 9 AM friday morning. Games will begin shortly after. Team captains meeting will be friday night after top gun is finished. Games started last yr at 8 AM on saturday for the rookie class, so im sure it will be the same this yr. Look on www.warpig.com or www.forceofnature.com for information. See ya there.

At UM, the Rookie division really isn't a rookie division at all. Last year we were at the end of our rookie season, and we played teams that had been playing for years/in the amatuer division at local tourneys. We placed well, but there were some really good teams there. This year we are playin novice.

OP-FOR is playing Novice as well. We watched last year so this is going to be our first time playing at the Madness...

Teams that play amatuer locally, are usually only considered rookie on the national level. You can't compare the local level with the national level, the teams will never match up the same. I know this may seem a little tough to grasp and not fair to teams that are trying to make their debut at the higher level, but that's the way tourney ball works. For the most part, the best rookie teams on the national level, will be better than some of the best "open" class teams on the local level.

I would highly recommend that everyone start out on the local scene, and continue to play local tourneys for a while before they take a step up to the next level. I would recommend about 1 year, or 15 tournaments on the local level before moving up to the national level. (of course this is controversial, and not everyone will agree with me, but this is my opinion)...Hope this helps. Jeff

My team CODE BLUE is playing rookie, most of the tourneys Ive been in the rookie is always harder than other classes because of the number of teams that enter.
