OK today I took apart my BD Basic. I put oil on every o-ring and I mean every oring. The 2 on the bolt, the one on the valve, the grip, and the one on that thing in the front (please bare with me im a TAD NOOB). I'am supposed to put oil on every oring right? Also I wanted to know if im supposed to clean off all the parts before applying the oil?

I used 32 degrees Hoppes 9 oil.

Also can I use the black oring the marker brought for use on the tank? I did the whole day with no trouble but i just wanted to know.

Only thing I did not do is put oil in the ASA and dry fire. Bcuz I heard ppl say that it messes up the regulator in the ASA.

Sounds Good. And yes I too would wipe down the entire marker and its parts prior to oiling everything.

Can you put a couple drops in the line after the reg? I used to do that with my last semi. It just seemed like it lubed up things I might have missed without effecting the reg!;)

You mean unscrew the hose from ASA, drop a few oil in hose, screw back in,and dry fire?

YOu can just drop a few in the ASA if you want, you don't have to unscrew it.

Some gauges on regs don't like oil, that's why I suggested going "after" the reg.

Yeah, deffinatly dont put oil in the reg itself(if it has a guage on it) i've busted a few guages in the past doing that.

I just unscrew the lowpressure chamber and put the oil in there. It wont coat the lines or gas thru grip but whatever
