of my old gun (see "little kids and paintball" for uses). it is wickedly modded. it is, well, was a raptor. i have twin cocker ball detents, home made delrin high flow bolt, home made rear cocking, spyder maddman springs, diamond labs LP valve, gutted 4 stage sub zero, double trigger with chopped (looks normal now) gaurd, f-4 LPC, polished internals (except for the bolt, duh), modded hammer (it catches farther to trhe back so i can get better efficiancy) and some other minor stuff that i cant pull off the top of my head.

How old are you Crayon? That gun is uglier than my brother. Here's my "semi-low end" gun. Works like a dream now that PD Paintball moded it.

Im 20. And is it me or is that a Spyder with a bob long frame, Lp Cell, and gas throught grip. I have a Tricked spyder also With many of the same mods thought i decided to stay with the stock compact 2k body because i like the power feed and tubular designe. But thats personal preference. Nice gun though. but i was more lookin for LOW end markers

For a low end gun, shove paintballs up your *** and fart.

an entire....... 1/2 hour. i drilled 3 holes in it (on the lathe so they were centered), two in the bolt and 1 on the bolt plug. then lightened it. then i screwed a cocker cocking rod (kapp twisted) into the back of the bolt.

did you buy a raptor bolt and mod it Or did you make it out of a solid block

sniper1rfa
07-10-2001, 04:25 PM
i did not use solid block. you can by bar (smallparts.com) that is the right diameter, you just have to cut and drill it. BTW, they dont make raptor delrin bolts, and there is only one (that i know of) after market bolt.

I got some after market raptor bolts @ iisports.com I thought they had a delrin one But i may be wrong

sniper1rfa
07-11-2001, 04:21 PM
but no delrin. and the stock bolt is better than a venturi anyway.

black what gun do you have? is that your only gun? i thought you played in tourneys? or you play with that gun ???

Evilcrayonusa

Stock first gen raptors had crap stock bolts but other than that ide agree theres no real point in the ventury. but ii used to have more bolts one of witch was this all aluminum star fire bolt which had nice air flow and was much lighter. Oh i checked out small parts.com they have some nifty stuff Coulednt find small cams though.

the raptor and a cocker. i use the cocker mainly but i use the raptor for fun sometimes. i think i am going to try to make it electric. and i have played tourneys with the raptor (before the cocker era)

u had to modify most of the parts a little to make them fit. i did it at our high schools shop. i almost screwed up the gun many a time.

sniper1rfa

umm... just because. no, i like that gun, soon to cease being a raptor and start being "my gun." thinking of getting some solenoids and making an electro with the body and some of the parts.

I need a small cam that fits my Cd motermoter Then i can have a full auto M83. Heh i built the set up but my original cam was a lil too big. other than that it works nicly. Viva los Crap guns.

Need solinoids to make a recipricating motor?

you just lock the sear so it cant move back and forth so it is permanantly angadged with the trigger, it would be much easier, you could do it in like 2 seconds. although your idea would be more controlable, who needs control anyway :-)

thats kool dude i toatally agree with you

Evilcrayonusa

If i locked the seer it would chop balls like mad. Cool concept but trust me it works better on paper. With the cam engine method all i need is a small engine, a tiney cam, an instantanious push button switch, a pot resistor, and a power source ie a 9 volt. heh that will work nicly and i have all the parts but the cam. Well i do have an engine from an eletric razor that im tryin to work into the equasion but easier said than done (it has an od shaped cam attached to it ide have to drill a large hole for it which im not really cool with.
