Actually I can't tell you which is better. I have only had experience with the Defiant (same as BM2K) and it is a quality gun through and through. I have no idea how it compares to a tribal, but from what I have heard offrom friends it is basically the same. I would lean toward the BM2K mainly for the upgrade options. There are all kinds of turbo boards, bolts, LPR regs, anti-chop eyes, valves, and other parts available for it. Mac Development out of Australia has just made a Sonic BM2K with LCD. I am sure the Tribal has the same potetnial, but the parts and upgrades are available now for the BM2K. Check out http://www.g3pb.com for parts and http://www.macdev.net. You can also check out the defiant message board at Bob Long's page. Bottom line, though, the gun rocks. It totally kicks ***. The only problems I have had with the gun are problems I created myself (like losing parts). Otherwise, the mechanics and electronics of the thing are totally reliable. I have been using it for over a year and I don't care to get another gun anytime soon, it is that good.

Um, okay. I would have to say a bushy. Every tribal I have seen is poorly made. The internals look like somebody went to Hobby Lobby for parts.

From what I've heard about tribals, is that when they are working problem free, it can be a completely dominating gun, awesome performance, rate of fire, whole deal. But, from what I understand, they are insanely problem prone. I've heard alot of people complaining of bolts snapping in half and the like. Personally, I'd say go with the bushy.

Or... go with the Bob Long intimidator. Sorry, I just got this gun and it rocks my world. It also has a problem with some bolts snapping in half, but Bob Long will personally replace it free of cost if this happens, so I'm not too concerned. Plus the sensors that check the breech for a balll before firing are cool as hell. No more chopping for me ever :D.

Go with the Bush Master though

Yeah it's screwy, I dont know why it happens but my guess would be that the higher rate of fire of the electros puts more stress on the bolt. I was a bit supprised when I heard it too, but apparently Bob Long redesigned the bolt in the intimmy (I think I got the new one, it doesnt look as thin as the old one sounds like) because the first bolt would actually snap right in half inside of the gun during a cycle. Tribal is still a good gun, but the bushmaster seems more reliable

well between the 2 i would say bushmaster because i had a tribal first day out it was a little cold it split the bolt in to and the reg mess up the gun would not **** had that fix and in 6 months time i had put 4 bolts 2 reg then i sold it and got a 2000 cocker now i know i got a hold of a bad gun but it just turn me off to elctronic guns but i'm sure thrt not bad just not for me

what makes a mephisto better than a bushmaster the bmk has better rof better looking and a mephisto is $450 at the store in my town and a bmk is $469 in my opion(witch is like *** hole everbody got one)it is the best $20 you can spend

without a doubt the Bm2K...the gun looks ok..not too great..but the feel of the gun is great. It has a better rate of fire than the tribal and it's more easily upgraded and stuff.

I like Tribals because: cost, looks, they take autococker barrels, and the trigger pull.
