I just got my new Dragun LCD today. Thing is awsome. i just have one doubt. from what i red in forums and M3 webpage, this gun has several firing modes, like turbo, bursts and so. but i only seem to have semi. the manual on my box only refers to adjusting timer and counter, but not firing modes. how do you change between modes, or did i get ripped off?

If you have just turned your marker on, then you can just hit the top button (after turning the safety off) and you will cycle through all of the modes.
If you have already used the bottom button to access any of info in your post, then do the following:
Go to the semi mode using the bottom button. Hit the top button and you should see the number start to blink. Once this occurs, you can change the number (this works in any mode) by hitting the top button.
If you hit the bottom button again, it will "lock" the number in place ie, stop flashing, at this time you can then hit the top button and cycle through all of the modes.

i tried what you said, but once the safety is off, i hit the top button and nothing happens, no mode changes. all it says is it´s in semi mode, the current rof and the shot counter at the bottom.
also, once i have used any other function, like the timer or reset the counter, i return to the semi mode and begin hitting the top button, and again, nothing happens.
The manual is no help either. it´s supposed to be multi mode,i´m begining to think it only has semi mode, witch sux.

Maybe you got a bd that already had a sob in it. I would say its a good thing unless you don't play tourneys.

no clue, with mine i have to push the top button twice, but it always works. Take it into a proshop if theres one in your city, and ask them.

i bought this gun for fun, for it´s firing modes. for turneys i have an impulse.

actually the number is 1-251-665-5555. the toll free number doesn't work even though it is on the web site.

Does it say Safety or Safty when you trun it on? Is it an M3 or a Paint Inc marker?
If it's a M3 says Safty when you turn it on then you have a tourny legal Sniper. Contact your DEALER and give them a good *****ing session. If you bought from an indvidual you will need to purchase a full auto board from M3.

yes, my gun is M3 and it does say Safety or whatever when i turn it on. so it´s official, i was ripped off. i´m gonna give these guys a piece of my mind. they sold me something else. and the worst thing is, i bought several of them, for me and all my teammates. no more thepaintballstore for me!

ahh you bought from thepaintballstore.com that answers a lot :D. don't try to email them. If they don't like what you say they just won't reply. Call them. And give them no mercy!!! :yell:

they said they have no control on what kind of board you get. that it´s a risk i have to take as a buyer.
Their loss, i´m about to make a mayor order and they´ll miss it. bought my impy on paintballexpress and the service was great, i´m staying with these guys.

samis13- I just used the toll free number yesterday to get some stuff that wasn't included with my Sniper. I don't know if they had a problem, but as of yesterday it's working.
Wolf Warrior-
That's a rich one!! No control over the board you get!! If it advertised the specific functions then it must include the specific functions other wise you did not recieve what you paid for. At the very least they need to take back the markers and refund your money. With any shipment, you have the right to be able to make an inspection of the goods and you can return any "nonconforming" goods. In this case, you purchased a Sniper with the understanding you would have a full functioning LCD model. It clearly sent a nonconforming part and upon finding this out, you can promptly send them notice of refusal (which you did, or you should make that clear to them you wanted the full functioning one ASAP).
If it doesn't take the markers back, then have it send you the proper board to make the markers conforming (at its cost). If it refuses, you can take legal action and force it to come to your state to defend the lawsuit (plane ticket alone, not to mention lawyer fees, should make them refund your cash).
Of course, if it advertised something fishy like "as is" then you may have a different issue.
Please keep in mind, none of this is legal advice and you should check with local laws and customs, especially your consumer protection laws.
I'll leave the above posted but I did just go to the web site and it DOES NOT sell an M3 Sniper!! It advertises a "Sniper package" which includes an LED Black Dragun. If this is what you ordered, then you have an LED and NOT an LCD M3 Sniper and you did receive what you paid for!
In this case, barring a deceptive advertising claim (iffy) then you're probably limited to thier return policy. I hope you checked it out before the purchase...
Again, please keep in mind, none of this is legal advice and you should check with local laws and customs, especially your consumer protection laws.

Yeah, the LCD is on their site:
M3 Black Dragun LCD
$199.99 Your price!
The Black Dragun LCD comes equipped with an electronic grip frame that is capable of shooting plenty fast! A mini gauge is located above the vertical grip that displays the operating pressure of the marker and a chrome sight rail is added to the top of the marker. Other features include:
Black Dragun Drop Forward
Vertical Feed
Gas Thru Fore Grip
Low Pressure Cell
Thumb Velocity Adjuster
Custom Aluminum Trigger
It doesn't say anything about modes in the description.

I think some of the LCDs come with a full function board and some don't. If they advertised a full funtion board then you have a right to return it. If they refuse to comply then get your parents involved. The have terrible customer service track record.

Yeah, sorry I didn't see that one!!:o
I thought I saw someone elses post that called Wolf's marker a sniper and that was all I could find remotely called a sniper.
The only thing it says it "shoots plenty fast". I don't see any claims about full function or the like. Like I said earlier, you may just be dealin' with the return policy.

...well all i can get from this is that YOU CAN NEVER TRUST A COMPANY BASED ON MARKERS MADE BY 5 YEAR OLD FACTORY WORKERS IN TAIWAN!!!
oh and theres nothing funny about child labor, STOP LAUGHING! ...and check ur bd for fingernails

Rancid, do everybody a big favor and go drink a gallon of Liquid Drano:D. Hopefully that will clear up the constipation in your BHU (brain housing unit)!
Obviously somebody missed the point here! There are two version of the LCD. One is a tournament legal 20bps LCD and the other is a full auto/multi mode 20bps that can not be used for tournaments. Most shops do ensure that they are sending their customers the correct marker so do NOT blame the manufacturer for dealer screwups.

I would say buy the patriot sniper since it has a slightly different, yet more comfortable grip as well as the fact that it is almost completely black with just a bit of chrome, (im just a sucker for the black finish). Note however that M3 does not currently make them, discontinued, so you will have to find one on ebay, buy used, or be lucky enough to find one sitting on a dusty store shelf. I have yet to find any online store that has them in stock for a decient price(under $200 is current price for both sniper and BD LCD).
The BD LCD however is still able to be found on most online stores and the only real difference that I have found is the color and grip frame. Both a matter of personal choice.
Answer this question and you'll know which one to buy:
Would you like a solid black marker or would you like a choice in color?
This inane babble help any?
