View Full Version : A-5 Powertube
I had my power-tube out for cleaning last night. When I was putting it back in I push the valve plunger in (the pin in the rear of the tube) and the washer,o-ring fell out. It took me over 15 Min's. to get it all back in.You have to push the washer down on the spring follow by the o-ring, all in the space where the tombstone adapter goes."what a pain in the rear" any one of you Tippmann veteran's have an easer way to do this? AND DON'T PUSH THE PIN IN.
All you do is put the washer on top of the spring. And then the O-ring over top of that.
Just get a flat-head screwdriver and push it down. There's not much to it. Once it's pushed down, it stays in place. As long as you... well, don't push the damn valve pin in putting tension on the O-ring to pop out!
Which means also putting the hammer back in. Use the guide pin to slide the powertube foward dragging the hammer. Don't push the hammer in and shoving it down in, or else you'll have the same problem with the O-ring popping out.
