Today i roll up to my field feeling confident about a day of play with my sweet BK0, but i go to gas it up and theres a leak inside. I go borrow some allen wrenches from these guys next to us(i forgot mine). I proceed to take it apart, and then notice theres a frigging wire that broke apart. Now this is no isolated incident, i have had troubles with it since i got it back in sept/aug. This is the final straw, i've sent it tantrum to get it fixed, i've taken it to my local store and i've tried everything. I've done almost nothing to the inside of my gun and i've had problems with: Paint Breakage, Broken Wires, Leakage from almost every part that has air going through it and cuts in tubes. I think i might have gotten a bum bk0 because i have not gone to the field once without it having some sort of problem. Geez i'm really mad right now, i'm gonna e-mail icd :(

I'd call. I never get replies to email, but calling them always produces results.

its long distance though if ur not near them...they dont have an 800 number or anything. back to the topic, I just bought a bko and have played with it once and not had any problems yet aside from getting the hpr and lpr adjusted. Once i did get them adjusted it worked awesome I love it. maybe you got a lemon?

Yeah man sounds you like you got a bad BKO. Mine has been working fine and I couldn't be happier with it. Mine shoots awesome with all the upgrades I put on. The only problem I had is breaking my microswitch because they are so anoying to put back in, and that was just a quick fix by Goldie.

I think i got a bad one too. I used to have a BD with a 48/3k crossfire preset nitro tank at 850psi. I never had a problem with that tank on my gun but now when i put the same tank on my bko it leaks out of the ASA. Im not a noob, its not the oring, ive tried changing it 3 times and the leak is still there. I had the first shot drop off too, but you guys helped me fix that problem so i got rid of that. But when i try to increase the velocity just like you guys said how, i cant get the gun above about 240 psi even when i change the lpr. I dont know what to do, im hoping its just my *** tank so i can get an anti-siphoned tank instead cuz i run out of air in about 2 games with the leak. I tried using my friends co2 tank too, no leak which leads me to think its the tank. I just bought this gun for christmas, a 2k2 model with the serial #'s, i havent taken the gun apart at all, except the bolt. I really have no idea what to do... :(

dood, if its causing u that much trouble, just save up money, sell it, and buy a bushy. not another bk0, but a b2k. imo, they have better quality control, and ive never seen one in my pro shop to get fixed. the only 1 ive seen in my pro shop was to get their set screws loctited. that little wire (i think its blue) has been the only problem some bk0s have had. no big deal, but in ur case, i think it would be better to get rid of the apprentice, and buy the master....the bushmaster!muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha :eyes:

i got a used b2k, and the only thing was that i was chopping cuz my revy coudnt keep up, but i just lowered the bps with the dip switches, and presto! no more chopping. go for a b2k3 if u got the cash. if u dont have that much, get a used b2k, cuz either way, u will still be happy, and wont have to worry about ur gun failing u at the feild ever again.

send it to us at ICD. put a note in there explaining what the problem is. In the note say that I told you to send it in. Put my name on it so I know which one it is and I will make sure it is taken well care of. My name is greg. Address your note to vic. We will get this problem solved for you.

Yeah, i was thinking about selling my bko. But when it works, i love it. It is soooo quiet too, my friend has a tricked impulse but my bko is stock, and my bko is almost half as quiet as his! If i did sell it though, id either get what you said or a cocker. But i really dont want a cocker cuz 2 of my friends got one and all they've had is problems until they change half the parts and i dont want to put so much money into a gun like that, i need speed. But im gonna take it back to the store i bought it from and have them check it out, ill tell ya'll what they say when i take it.

I think i might have found part of my problem. The scre that goes on the side of the ASA is where the leak sounds like its coming from. Would putting some teflon on it stop the leak? Or am i just an idiot who doesnt know what he is talking about?

If you are leaking from the screw in the ASA you might want to try some blue loctite. Teflon tape can get into the marker and cause problems.

i bought a used pre-serial number bko a few months ago. i aired it up and it was leaking. i thought maybe it was the valve, so i purchased a vapor valve. installed the new valve and it still leaked. vapor responded saying they would look at my marker but they were very busy. i put my bko in my closet.

two months later i finally sent the bko back to icd to get repaired. i never called them, just enclosed a note in the box saying that i bought this bko used from pbn and it leaked the first time i aired it up. they sent my bko back repaired and shooting great. the final cost of this was $0, nothing. i was so pleased w/icd and will have to give them 2 thumbs up for their service.

RUBEN: Have you put your trigger swing point all the way in the back hole. Try that it will help with your full auto problems. The drop off problem could be from a dry reg. relube your reg plungers. If you are just set on getting another marker the b2K would be a better choice for you to move up to. Your aftermarket parts will fit right on. And you will not be disapointed in a new B2K.

your reply was confusing i did mess with my triger to get it as close as i could which screw would the swivel point be ??
1,2 and i have put them back and still fires full when i gas it up....

02-07-2003, 08:20 AM
hey ruben, when you dont have it gassed up, and you just turn the gun on and fire, does it go full auto? If not, you could have you trigger pull soooo close that when you pull the trigger with air on, the recoil allows you finger to move fast enought to pull really fast without even trying. I can do this with mine, but dont, becuase it is uncontrollable!

Ruben
02-07-2003, 08:47 AM
whne its not gassed it doesnt do it and ive pulled back the top screw already and its still does it when i gas it up ( no matter how far the trigger is if i keep it pressed it keeps firing.....

What type of frame do you have?

Ruben
02-07-2003, 10:15 AM
its the 2k3 i believe i just bought the gun...

gregicd
02-07-2003, 02:14 PM
If your marker has the new style trigger and frame then put the pin that holds the trigger in the frame in the farthest hole towards the back. Then adjust your tigger pull to were the trigger trips the switch when you first pull the trigger and then keeps pulling. This should help you with trigger bounce.

I dont know why you care ruben? It sounds like that sweet board they have for the timmys! Dose it still shoot semi auto if you dont hold it?...Ill trade you my defiant for it!

Ruben
02-07-2003, 09:52 PM
yea of course if i tap it its semi but sometimes when im rushing i get trigger happy and it seems like i pop paint my revy cant handle....the gun fires fulll if i hold it donw though the light doesnt even blink...!! ( youll trade you defiant for board ?? and if so you have pic ???
