i'm thinking about gettin an autococker. what are a few of the matinence things you have to worry about. what is a timing rod???

In order to truely enjoy an autococker you will have to spend the time learning the gun. You should learn what every part is called and what it does. You should also learn to time it. Timing is not very difficult, it just takes some practice.

With that said, a timing rod (also known as and acutator rod)is the rod that attach's to the 3-way valve and is slide into the trigger plate. Right after the trigger reales's the sear, it also pulls the timing rod back to activate the 3-way valve. The timing rod is one of the parts that must be timed.

i was looking for something with diagrams of the internals and the name for all the parts.

Ravi's site (the one listed above) names all the parts and will get you familiar with all the cocker parts.

i already looked through all of it, you know how the kingman sight has the diagrams,is there a site like that for 'cockers.

They have exploded views of cockers, but they don't name the parts. goto http://worr.com for a animated pic of how cockers work.

tyte spyder....im only 14....but i mow lawns....and this summer im going to be workin at a restaurant my mom owns. im prolly gonna make around $1,000 by the end of the summer. so...im spendin it on a free flow cocker with a nitro system.
