What the hell is up with people paying over $300 for a tippy
sniper package that has a remote (like 25) a flatline (50) and
a stock (45) seperately these items cost like 220 max.
and the only true performance upgrade is the barrel, the remote and stock, not really.
i have a 98 custom with the low pressure kit, the whisper barrel, a pure energery reg. and a double trigger,
unless i didnt pass kinder-efing-garten that adds up to 4 performance upgrades and im selling it with tanks, revvy squeegie and other little shiz and i cant get offers of even 200!
I can get u the URL for the EBAY auction if anyone wants to see it, just post or email me for it it ends in five days
just please explain the logic to me, and BTW, i have a shot at a flatline for like 45, if i get it do u think i will sell my package more easily, and if someone wants my whisper, 35 and its yours, (14 in, black)
thanks for everyones time and i hope ur not as pissed as i am

$50 Flatline? Last time I checked it was $100. And the remote is a performance upgrade. Remote = no liquid Co2. No liquid Co2 = better efficiency. Better efficiency = more accurate.
Yours is used. Tippmann's don't have a very high re-sale value. But you can't even get $200 for yours? I could have got $200 for mine and there's not really that much put in it.
45 for a stock? 50 for a flatline?
Yeah, on EBAY! For those that want to buy used items from people they don't know and pray the item they get actually works!
Otherwise, brand new items in stock... good luck.
Oh, and try the FOR SALE section! Don't try to sell off your stuff here. This is a technical area, not your personal swap sheet.

98c - 120
flatline - 100
good stock - 80
remote - 40
PLUS ITS NEW
total seperate: 340
plus tippmanns have a low resale value.
for your stuff, 200 wouldnt be too bad. unfortunately for you whisper barrels arent that great and pe regs just plain suck (they leak like crazy)

I'd like to shop where you're shopping!!!
The lowest for a Flatline for a 98 is around $80.00 at the best although I've only seen $95.00
The stock I've seen for $55.00 although we'll say $45.00.
A good remote will run you around $35.00
A Tippmann costs $119.00 at the very lowest.
So you are looking at $330.00 at being the lowest for a new gun package. These are prices for decentthings at beyond the lowest.
Now, I put together 98 sniper for around $200.00 with used parts...

u guys can f off
Im not pulling numbers out of my ***
on ebay people pay sloads of money for stuff that i have found used on this website or from accquaintences at school for the prices listed. And of coursed new they cost over like 340, but its effing new, thats why im pissed cause jackoffs like you people dont understand anything. People are buying tippmanns with flatlines for over 200, while my gun which kicks butt, (BTW ive had no probs with my barrel or my reg) and is imensely better than a fline tippy, i cant even get any offers.
and BTW the selling part, f u, i wasnt trying to post this just to sell my stuff, i thought that maybe some more inteligent people would be in the tippy forum so theyd understand the nitro kit and that it is tons better than a flatline and that you might be interested, cause i have posted in the for sale section, to no avail. I obviously was wrong about finding smarter people in the tippy section and either respond to the topic (why do ppl buy the sniper, which has 1 performance upgrade, and there is zero interest in my gun, both can be considered as used for all u jackoffs who are techinical out there

have you ever heard of marketing..?
its this wonderful thing that companies do to trick people into buying things they don't really need... and pay more for... and guess what... that makes the company money... and companies like money... so they do it...
and why the hell do you care if they're selling it for what they are... your not buying it... oh by the way... i'll sell you my 68/3k tank for 350...

and for being a moron and cussing... where cussing isn't needed...and is against the rules... you have now dropped down below zero skillet on my respect-o-meter....

when you buy a product new from a company you have the garantee that this product is totally new and you know where its been. this feeling is important becase you can profrom better knowing yoru equipment is in your hands. if you buy a product from ebay. you never know whats happned to it, it coudl be hollow and the picture you see is not what you get. it could be damaged dinged up and a number of things. you buy a feeling of security not to mention you have a garantee that if it does fail it will be replaced.

hmm,
1) calling the lp kit better than the flateline is 100% preference, some may like it better, others may not.
2) If teh stock is more comfortable to you, it will help your accuracy more than any upgrade.
3) the remote helps with effeiceincy by reducing liquid co2 intake that causes velocity spikes

that flatline is an overpriced piece of crap. you spend 100 bucks on a bent pipe. they should just sell the stupid adapter seperate so that people can buy it and make there own flatlines. it would be alot cheaper then paying that high of a price. whats going to help efficiency more a remote on co2 or a reg with an lp kit on nitro? well lets just think aobut that one. with 300 you can get a much better gun.

you need a lesson in economics. there is a reason they charge so much, it costed much to devellop it (it is to an exact amount of curvature so it will be a 'flatline' which it is of course not but close as it could be) and costs a lot to replicate that 'bent pipe'. also, there is a reason they dont just sell the adapter, they want you to buy the entire kit so they make more money.
the judgement that the flatline sucks has been beated to death and again and yes, you could do better for your money.
