Sad day today.......

I got home from school and I got a package from Firstcallpaintball. I have no idea what it is because i didn't order anything from there for a long time and it turns its a FREAK KIT:eek: :eek: :eek: I just found out that my step-mom wanted to congradulate me for doing well in school and pay up for a crappy birthday present so she bought me this! Now that i have it i guess i have to use it:( . I'll let you guys know what I think of it.

I am not spoiled. I may in fact have a lot of objects that would make me seem spoiled but in fact i have to work hard for them. As an example I just got my sisters old car(99 celica) after over a year of hard work in school. Another example is that everything i have for my paintball gun(except for my freak) i have bought with my own money. No help from my parents. So don't tell me i'm spoiled. I just work hard and i get rewarded that is all.

Look if you only knew the kids at my school and how spoiled they were, you would think i was one of the least spoiled kids in the world. Kids at my school get BMWs and Porsche's for their 16th b-day and live in 15,000 fq ft mansions. I had to work my *** of for 2 years so i could drive my sisters 1999 celica. I had to work my *** off at a kitchen so i could afford all the paintball stuff that i own. I am not spoiled. Granted i sometimes do get more stuff than others but that doesn't make me spoiled. If you want to know the real reason why i got a barrel in general from my step-mom was cuz my dad got pissed at her cuz for my 16 bday she gave me a 20 dollar pen and he thought i deserved more than that so he made her get me something for my paintball gun.

that's pretty crazy dude... I have to keep my marker at my friend's house cause my dad thinks paintball is morally wrong... and I'm lucky if I get $30 for my birthday, even though my family is in the upper class... and yes, I'm spoiled. Despite the fact that the front and back don't line up to well, from what I've seen, freaks shoot quite well. If you always use one kind of paint, a boomstick would be better, but a freak isn't too bad.

If your front and back don't line up (which they very well may not) then I dunno what to say...it'll probably shoot okay but you may have minor issues. If you're lucky enough to have everything line up alright, then you've got quite a nice barrel there. You shoot an impulse, after all, so you must think smart parts knows what they're doing to some extent.

Anyway, I don't feel at all sorry for you.

Yea at first my dad thought paintball was the worse sport EVER because he is an ophthalmologist so he sees all the bad eye injuries. But i worked him over and now he helps me fix my gun if i need to.

I like Smart Parts guns but i don't like their barrels as much. They are ok but i would rather have a boomstick or a Scepter. But then again i got a free freak so that is good too, i guess.

Anyway, I'm not raving SP fan because I do like Dye barrels a lot and other big companies. I have a 3.7 GPA and I don't get jack **** either. Just use the freak, I mean seriously it's expensive for a reason. It's like the best barrel system ever. Yeah no kidding. I have to work my *** off at a job to pay for the car that I want, which is an $1000 Datsun 280Z that barely runs. Just to clarify, the highest score you can get on the PSAT is a 240 unless you do the little conversion thing which isn't accurate because they give you a range, not a number. The highest score on the SAT is a 1600, so if you got a 1520 on the SAT, good job, that's a good score. Both tests are relatively hard, but I'd say the SAT is a little easier. Oh and by the way bobalis, KWICHERBICHIN!

the SAT's are easier than the PSAT's... and there is a conversion- you take your PSAT verbal and math scores, add them together and multiply by 10. I got a 1440 on the SAT's and a 132 on the PSAT's... so there's a pretty big difference there. The writing skills section of the psat's is about the corresponding SAT II, so they don't really matter for the normal test. Btw, I got an 80 on that section :)

Well i played about 4 hours with it at my local field and it was..................GREAT! I loved it! It shot very well (even though i'm still bad at paint matching) and it shot a lot better than i thought it would. In fact, it was super accurate. I would have never thought i would like a Smart Parts barrel so much! I did break 3 balls but after i squeegeed it shot almost good as new. I love it!

My ideas on grades are very simple. You shouldn't be rewarded for doing well. School is to prepare you for college not for how to make some $$$ off your parents!

I pay for my own habit and all of my tournament equipment by working on a construction crew in the summer and working at the capital building duriing the school year(I attend Carroll College in Helena Montana www.carroll.edu if you wanna look at it!)

Well actually, being rewarded for a good job is what life is about. Its when you get shafted when you do a good job that sucks, and what makes people bitter.

You get good grades in elementry and early HS, you should get rewarded to be encouraged to continue doing good. (but only so far, rents should condition their children later that materialistic rewards aren't always important to prep them for college)

You get good grades in college or university, you will be rewarded by having that on your resume and getting a good job.

You do a good job at work and you'll be rewarded for your work.

Just my 2 cents.

We all want to be acknowledged for our good work.
