I am currently in the process of getting an e-bolt for my 98. The question is tat on my current set up I am running a center flag hyper flow reg (non screw in tank) and from what I have seen on the newer e-bolts you need a screw in tank for the regulator tippmann send to power the hammer. Is this true or is there any way that I can use my current tank?

yes u need a screw in tank! but u could try to get a reg for the hammer or something so u dont need that who comes with the kit!
Yeah, it's quite easy.
The E-bolt ASA isn't mandatory. It's just convenience, because it's both ASA and LPR in one.
All you then need to do is get a T-fitting, say Palmer Pursuit. And along with that, also from Palmer, a Micro-rock regulator.
Screw the T-fitting into where your bottom line normally would go. On the T, screw in the Micro-rock. On the other side of the T you screw in your macroline adapter or steel braided hose.
Hook up the autococker LP hose to the M-rock and adjust as needed.
check www.palmer-pursuit.com for those 2 pieces you need. Or call up tippmann when ordering and ask if you can order the E-bolt w/ that instead of the ASA/LPR. Explain your situation. Not e-mail, but actually call.
