How low can you turn down the velo and still get breaks with decent paint? I was playin a while ago, but not for long cause everyone was too damn afraid of the guns to do ****... had em chronoed to 280. I figure to keep playin, I'll have to turn em down, but I don't want to get a million bouncers... so how low do you think I could go?

Man, leave your speed where it is. If they're weenies, then you don't want them to play. This world has too much toleration. We get the feeling that we have to accept whatever people say to make them happy. We don't need everyone happy. If we did that, we'd just let newbies win major tourneys. Toleration for the most part is a load of monkey crap. The field limit is 280, I'm gonna shoot 280. Don't like it? Go to another field. If it was like that, then I could sign up to play football and complain that the other team is tackling too hard, I want touch football. You see where it can go? Leave your speed at 280 if that is the limit. Hell, make it 281 for good measure.

Ok, well true to a point... but one of the players was my mother :) For her I will make a small exeption... any ideas on speed?

If they are big weenies and dont want welts, use the amazing power of a breath and blow them outa the barrel at them!

for indoor i play at 245 and i get breaks. it actually seems to be more accurate as i turn it down, i found if my gun is shooting faster than like 300 they fly all over. do tests, keep turning it down until they dont break or its not going very far then turn it up alittle so they break and shoot at a descent distance

At our indoor field i go with 190 because it is just an old gas station plowed out with bunkers. It is literally that small. I always get breaks.

Buy some fairly brittle paint. Then you can turn your gun down and still have breaks.

Bouncers only hurt more when you're shooting fast. A low speed bouncer won't hurt more than a high speed break.

I don't know about elsewhere, but at most the fields I play at the rentals chrono about 200 - 220. It seems to work at least somewhat. Of course, the people with their own gear can slaughter them all, but whatever.
