get a JJ ceramic, there accurate, quiet, and are reasonably priced. they can be found for 40 bucks online. But also, dont get longer then a 12 inch barrel.

asking what is the best barrel is like asking who makes the best shoes?, what is the best food?
what price range are you looking at?

$200 limit:
Looking for something all around.
I have a hard time believing that anything over 12" hurts performance. I've read all the studies saying that anything over 8" is wasted or creates ball drag, but if this were the case, why would companies make 14", 16", 18" and even 20" barrels?
I would assume good companies like Dye wouldn't even bother making 18" Titanium Boomsticks if there weren't a need for them and if they didn't improve performance.
I noticed that the SC Iron Men all use 14" boomsticks.
I also noticed that the All Americans all use 14" all americans.
It even appears that their front players have 14" barrels.
There must be some kind of sweet spot at 14". Does anyone know this?
There must be someone out there that would speak up for a 18" boomstick. Anyone?
I am indifferent to price or length. I just want something that would give me the most accuracy and distance.
Thanks.
