simple, dont play in the winter....thats my stratetgy, my first game in ~1 1/2 months is comin saturday. best winter stuff....HPA is a must, good paint/barrel match, tippmanns seem to do good in the cold, and any paint with winter fill, and a thick shell for lower end guns

Well, I would have to say from experience Evil, and polar ice are the best paint to use in adverse conditions. Evil is good all the time :) As for barrels, I say if you really do want less chops, and less mess, use a un-ported barrel. No water can get in, and it's really easy to clean up after a break.

Haha... here it's more pleasant playing in the winter than the summer.

I'm lost. what in gods name does playing paintball in the winter have to do with this poll? Before you ridicule me, re-read the poll....

I used evil in th cold and it worked great. Also to keep the balls from gettin cold get either a shirt or big sock and put it over the hopper or get a hopper cover. Also HPA would help and if u use CO2 put a towel around the x-chamber ad tank.

I love playing with an inch or two of snow on the ground and sometimes more if im playing in the woods, it adds a whole new element to the game and changes a lot. You have to watch for all kinds of things like foot prints and try to make sure that your breath doesn't give away where you are hiding. Plus it's just plain beautiful to play while it's snowing.
