i just bought a used tippman and when i compared it to my friends tippman, i had to crank my velosity way up in order to shoot as far as his. Whats with that? So i opened up the gun, oiled everything replaced old stuff with new, and put it back together. I hooked the air up to it, fed it some paintballs, cranked the velosity up, and now the gun just spits the paintballs out about a foot. Im gettin pretty frustrated with this thing, so if anyone knows anything about this please reply. Thanks

1st check the tank. I bet it's low.
2nd Are you adjusting the velocity right? In is slower, right?

Since the gun has been used the hammerspring has probably lost alot of its tension, so you need to turn up your velocity to make up for the lost tension in the spring. I am pretty sure if you order a new spring it will be fixed.
