i will bw gwtting an imp with a bottemline max flow but i will be needing to get a drop for it. i don/t really care how it looks as long as it works and i will be getting a crossfire 88ci stubby tank to i woulds really like it to go forward allot. what dropos are out there that will work with the bottemline maxxy and an 88ci stubby tank?

any drop would work...just remember, its not what other ppl like that counts, though you might be like them, its what feels comfy to YOU!!
any drop will work, as long as it doesnt hit the grip...which i doubt it would....go to your proshop, and try some different drops, or go to your field, and ask to check out some other ppl's drops..

see i live on a smaller area were the pro shops have next to nothing and i don't know nor have i see any one with a 88ci stubby so i figured this would be a good place to get some input thats all. i know its what i like but the maxxy takes a crdle so i need to know what drops will take it and as to your suggestion that it needs to not hit the grip i know that. that is one of the big reasons that i have asked the questions that i have asked.

come on someb ody help me out here
I'm assuming you have one of the newer bottom line maxies with the dove tail mount. If so, get the ND "maxflow" drop. This does away with the mounting plate and give you a LOT more room to mount the tank. THe advanage is that you will be able to scrw in the tank without having to move the adapter plate.
If you havn't already got the crossfire, I would suggest a different tank. I have seen way too many crossfires "free flow" (dump stright unregulated air into the gun). PMI makes a good tank with a 5 year hydro and the ACI is also a good value (about $170)

a 68/3000 crossfire right now and i love it. and with a secondary reg unregulated dumping wouldn't affect the gun anyway. the max flow would protect the gun.

Why would you not care about free dumping of nitro into your reg.
The Maxflo can handle 850 psi fine, but you're asking for alot for it to handle 4500 solid. ALso, you're paying CASH for a bottle and a regulator. Wouldn't you be mad if a regulator that you paid for stopped working? I mean the bottle is less than HALF of the price, the other part is the regulator.

i would be mad but it is not nearly as a devestating thing as if the tank was dumping into the gun itself thats all. and i happen to really love my crossfire tank.

i am really looking for drop that brings the tank forward at least 5 inches or out to 7 or 8 in but that wont interfer with an 88stubby tank.

if you get a pmi perfect drop you can do this so you do not need to do the o-ring tirck or have a on/off and it will get the reg out of the way

That drop is WAY too big for my tastes, and too ugly as well.

my question is how does that monster connect to a maxflow? that doesn't look like a maxxy in the pic.

i not sure if this is right but look at the bottom of you maxxy there should be alien screw just un-screw this then unscrew the reg from the asa you might have to heat it uo cause there might be loctite then the part the goes into the asa screws into the front of the dropforward im not sure if this is how it works though

holy hanna that thing is heavy one pound just for a drop!!!
damn!!!!
ok i now have second question i just got my impy and i have yut to gas it up. i have read some stuff saying that you have to put orings in the asa cause the pin is to long. or get an on/off . i was under the inpression the the maxxy has an on/off allready as part of it. i have a crossfire 68/3k and the only sp on/off is a replacement valve for a co2 tank. can someone help me out here.
