Stupid. What is up with the NXL, NationalXball "League", how is that a league?

Its a "league" that only play in Tournaments. What kind of crap is that. I thought they would have a schedule and go city to city playing atleast once a week.

In other words it is not a league. It actually is Tournament division but they just stick the name league on it and give it a sense of a league to fool paintball players into thinking this is the next big thing.

This is little to no advance for the sport of paintball. I lean more to no advance at all. I just thought I'd share with you guys that are still fooled into thinking the NXL is a league.

yea, and most teams have the funds to play once a week and travel all over the country.
they werent being trixy, they just realized that most teams dont have a massive bank account or major corporation backing them that can provide for that. so tournaments are the best way at the moment.

Why do you consider a "league" playing in weekly events? Do you have any idea how expensive that would be? Probably more so than however much it costs for the franchise in X-Ball. Oh..and what about the NPPL? National Paintball Players League (that's what it is, right?) ? So is this not a league either? What about the NEPL? You can't focus on just X-Ball when going against the "league" idea. If you do then the NPPL and NEPL (and whatever other "league") have been deceiving us all along. I think it really comes down to your opinion on what a "league" is.

Have you played X-Ball yet? If not, don't say it is not the way of the sport. Who knows, it very well could be. Only time will tell what works best.

I read in an article that eventually they plan to have stadiums in the teams' respective home towns, and that they'd use those for the season. Obviously, they'd not be on the same scale as say a football stadium, but still it would be cool to sit in the bleachers and watch the game.

i also thought it would be a weekly thing and was dissapointed when i found out it wasnt. i dont think the stadium thing will happen. there isnt enough people to watch paintball unless it becomes telivised like nfl and nba games. i would love to see this happen but i cant see it happening anytime soon
