i'll say they are high maitenance, but if you treat it right, it will not break down as much as other people say they will..if you maintain it right, it will treat you the same way..

Cockers are not hard to maintain at all.
You just have to take the time to learn your gun. Than just treat your gun good and it will treat you even better.

ok, i'm usually good to my paintball guns, but i'm kind of afraid to take my guns apart might break, there was that one time when i took a jackal apart then put i back together with a softer trigger and no safety.

In my opinion in the wrong hands a Spyder or Tippmann is higher maintenance. A 'Cocker is simple to work on once you understand how it works. I won't get into that right now. They usually break down when someone works on it who doesn't know what they're doing. If you get one make sure you take the time to learn how it works. If you do then you will have much less trouble with it.

Well i was a little humbled by my cocker when I got it and it has come across 2 minor problems since I have had it the gun wasn't firing at the correct time but it was simple to fix once you look at the gun and the other problem I had was a ball detent that needed an o-ring behind it so it acted as a spacer (the ball detent stuck in too far) and that was simple to fix. All in all if you don't pay atention to what you do when you mess wth your timing yes it can be a pain but so loand as you take note of how it works and how it came apart then you have nothing to worry about and I use Ravi's website as a good resource for problems that I am unsure of I would like to say that this gun is a marvel to watch it fire and recock! oh geez I gotta stop talkin about it I wanna go play with it:)
