Angry Old People

So one time we were playing at Pev's, it was at compound a large field with a creek dividing it. My friend and I were defending but as soon as we were allowed to cross on to the attacking side we did in an effort to get behind the attackers. We made it across the creek without being seen. We heard words being exchanged behind a bush. One man was on our team and the one with his back to us was on the attacking side, they were agruing about whose out or whatnot. So I ended the arguement by shooting the opposing player in the butt. He immidiatly turned around and started to cuss me out. I said to my friend, "come on, lets go." and this stupid 40 year old fat ***** thought I wanted to fight. He rushed without a gun, my friend and I landed about 7 or so shots mainly in the chest before he tripped on a root. The other guy on our team had to walk him back to the dead zone barrel in back so he wouldn't try to pick a fight with us again.

I have nothing against older players, but I never see teens or any younger people trying to pick a fight physically.

It wasnt his fault if i was him and a fat 40 year old with a bad attitude charged wanting to fight me (im 14) i would of unloaded my hopper on him and if he was still coming id bring out my pods (shooting is funner than running lol).:)

I would be pissed too.

That's a bit strange.

One of my teammates is a bouncer at a local club, so we use him to threaten the newer players. (He's nice. Shoots an Impy.)

Something seems just slightly odd about that story. Generally speaking the refs (or staff) at Pevs will throw out anyone that does what you're describing. The location that you're describing is also in view of many other players too, all that would have witnessed this ... assuming you crossed the creek and flanked on the left side off the break from the dead zone (as the right side would have been in clear view).

Were the "older guys" that you shot regulars at the field or walkons that happened to be there that day? When exactly did this happen since the creek's been out of play (with the exception of maybe one week in Dec.) since November? It seems to me that there are some details missing from your story here... :confused:

I play at pevs every other weekend when the weather is nice. this was early October so the weather was quite nice. As your on the defending side looking at the creek we went to the right tape and crossed, theres a patch of woods back there, the ref was on the other side of the creek. The only people that were there were the old guys friends who were out and were heading out. and about five defenders. This guy was a walk on. He actually was a nice guy and just said he got carried away and appolagized later. But he still did it.

Yeah...though I don't think that Pevs refs are always top notch, what was described would have likely gotten both of you sat down for at least a game or kicked off the field. That guy's lucky Dan or Eric didn't see him stepping or they'd have taken care of him...geez...

I think it was Kattan (sp?) that was clostest. He made him sit out, but I got off scott free.

Too bad, I hate it when my peers (40+ year olds, Fat, & Stupid) make us look like the spoiled brats! :|

haha if i were you i woulda unloaded on him until he got within 15ish feet then dropped my gun and charged him... i dont back down from anyone and ive payed for it a few times... heh at least everyone knows not to pick fights with me

old people in paintball arent that smart, ive seen countless old, fat guys walk off the field, right through the main battle, get lit up by their own team, the other team, they flip out because they got shot even though they were dead........people are dumb.......
