New defiant owner- need some help

my defiant is on the way and id just like to know what gen this gun is and if its a highrise thats on it... blah blah blah just tell me what you see from the pic

sorry i donno anythin about definant gens... but yes that is a relatively high rise feed neck

I would say yours is a newer generation than mine. U have 5 finger grooves for ur HPR instead of 6 as in mine. And U have external battery door/ removeable jewel, mine,.. u have to take the tray off to get to the battery.
Other than that I couldn't really tell. Do urs have slot for the LPR or 2 holes to adjust it ?

:) u got me there. I really don't know what gen it is, but i'm guessing mine is the very early one, maybe under gen. 3 ?? It has 2 slots LPR adjustment, no battery door, well, u figure it out. The manual said that for semi mode, the max. ROF is 13bps (calculate the dwell time and off time).
So his MAYBE gen 4 or 5. That's why I gave him the link.

that's the stock feed neck... they are made high so that a 12V or rico can keep up with them, Force feed loaders weren't out when Defiants were made. If you can shoot fast you might want to make an even higher rise out of PVC pipe unless you've got an EGG or Halo....

Yes that is definately the latest and probably the last Gen of Defiant. Bob has got like 5 sitting on his wall. Everything else looks pretty much stock
