CP bottomline adapter on PI E1

Was planning to put a KAPP DZII on my E1(LED) so I got a CP bottomline adapter for the offset holes on the gripframe to mate to the inline holes on the DZII. When I tried to put on the adapter only 1 of the (offset) holes lined up. Anyone else run into this problem?

Is retapping the gripframe with inline holes a valid solution?

Have you tried flipping it around the other way? rotating it 180 Degrees? Im not questioning you intelligence, just asking the obvious. (I have had no experience with them but its just to help)

OK, there are only two ways you can attempt to put the adapter on, yes, I rotated it 180 degrees.

Is the adapter defective or are the holes on gripframe not the same as spyder offset holes?
