Difference between Chrome moly and alum. tanks?

Quite a simple question, what's the difference between chrome moly and aluminum co2 tanks? probably a stupid question...

Aluminum is a lot lighter, I think that is about the only difference.

Chrome Moly has a round end, wheras aluminum has a flat.

ok, well the main difference is the weight of the tank, that's all.

Usually chrome molly tanks are smaller in size. I have not seen one more than 12 oz.
