What is the max rof that the bko is capable of? I've heard everything from 16-22. I would like a definite answer backed by some kind of proof or logic. Thanks.

The reason i ask is because i plan on buying one from dingopaintball with dv8 and an eye in it( i think he said $525). I don't don't want to spend that kind of money unless i will be able to rip on it.

This is my cheap alternative to buying a shocktech bushy. :D

with stock chip: 14.9 bps
chaos (not to sure): 22 bps

I'm not worried about what the chip can do. That's being replaced. I'm more concerned with the 2way, ran, and spring not being able to handle it.

o well in that case, I have heard from GregICD (I believe) that the 2-way can hold about 16-18...thats plenty fast!

Do you think that a lighter bolt with less friction would make a difference? I can make my own delrin bolt.

18 would be ok but 16 is too slow..:D

Hoplon I have not any way to test this myself but Sam at Vaporworks who knows these markers quite well said that a consistant 16 is the best rof without getting off. Thus 17 and 18 are possible, but then you lose some consistancy.

What do you mean "without getting off"? Without getting dropoff? I could put a miteymax on and the gun wouldn't know the difference for about 3 shots as far consistency is concerned.

I talked to tank from obdo.com about it and he seems to think that 20 would be the max. He said put a sidewinder and a mm on it which made me smile sense i have a sidewinder laying on my desk right in front of me. It's going to take a few weeks to save up enough to get it though. :(

i'm getting dv8 installed with the eye. I'm going to have a bko with as many features as angels!

Sorry should have been more clear on that. Without lacking oin performance. After 17 the electronics will outrun the physical limitations of the 2 way. For example (in theory of course that you could maintain a constant and steady rate of fire with your finger without and flucuations) the first second of fire you might get 17 or 18 bps. During the next second you sustain the rof and what will begin to happen is trigger pulls that are made before the the bolt is completely back in place simply because the spring can not keep up with the electronics. I'm not sure if this is making sence. It's kinda like decribing a black hole. Something we know about but can't really test due to all the factors that I simply cannot provide (consistant rof from the human finger and ball feed with no pause and/or interuption).

Well sense my bko will have an eye installed in it i probably can't get past 14 anyways. :(
