How black is the Ultralight?

is the dye ultralight exactly black? some of the pictures i have seen make it look more gray than black. its to match a gun i am thinkin about gettin, so...

Mine doesnt seem that black, the stock barrel on my cocker is darker. Like you said, it is a little gray.

and the back piece of the ultralite seems more purplish under a lot of light.

But who cares about all that? It shoots awesome!

The flavour of the barrel is definatley a glossy black.
