2 problems, please help

i went to the field today and i had 2 problems;
1. i was shooting at a very very high fps, and i couldnt turn it down any lower, so i cut of 2 coils from my spring. still too high. cut 3 more off, now to low, around 230. i am going to buy the chamelion spring kit, which spring should i use?

2.twice a ball was jammed and i couldnt cock back my bolt,so i had to get a stick and pop it then pull it out, this made a HUGE mess inside my gun, how can i prevent this?

also for number one, i had previously cut one coil off,making 6.

with the ball jams you could be firing to fast. Either that or you might be using bad paint or paint that is too big for your tl. I'm just guessing on these answers.

i had a prob with my shutter shooting too fast i ended up getting one from this guy with a piranha and it was lowered to about 280-285

the madman spring kit is the best. it has all the springs you could ever need for like 10 dollars, not bad. Also before you cut your spring you should have just unscrewed your tank and then screwed it back on. if you shoot co2 and you point your gun down during games then liquid will go into your gun and make it shoot VERY hot. when you unscrew the tank the liquid gets sucked out and your gun will be fine when you screw it back in. I know this from experience.
