Do you get drop off on the first shot?
Do you get drop off over long strings??
When is it you see the drop off???
If you are seeing drop off on the first shot there are several things you can try. First and foremost clean and grease the ram assembly. This could be part of the problem in all the above questions. Secondly you will want to adjust your LPR.
There are two different ways to adjust the LPR either one works well so I will list both for you.
Gas the marker up turn the LPR out, while firing the marker. When you get the LPR turned out far enough the bolt will not recock. Now you will want to turn the LPR in until the bolt recocks. Then turn the LPR one half turn. Test fire the marker. If FSDO (first shot drop off) is still present turn the LPR in another half turn. Test the marker again. You should have no problem with the FSDO now.
Second option for adjusting the LPR
Turn the LPR in until you hear the marker venting gas from the rear of the body. Now turn the LPR out one half turn.Fire the marker and make sure there isnt any gas venting. If there is turn the LPR out another half turn. Test marker again.
If you are seeing drop off over long strings you will want to clean and grease both regs and the ram assembly as well.
Set your HPR to 225 PSI. Adjust the LPR as stated above, either way will work. Take your marker to the chrono and adjust the HPR only to achieve the desired FPS.
If this doesnt help please let us know.
