We took 4th at the beach blitz 3 man tourney. We sent 2 squads up, my squad couldn't find our 3rd player and was about to forfeit, well hell no, Lumpy from premium paintball said hey I'll play with you! So Joe, Lumpy and I dominated the field, coming first in our division (Sup air division) beating out the dogs of war blue(1 of canada's best 3 man teams). Our sister team Perception (We were the super pimps, super pimps, super pimps) with Ryan, Rich and Dave came 4th in our division. One reason we moved on was because the paint sucked so bad, If it didn't suck so bad I wouldn't have taken a bounce on the top of my head, YES A BOUNCE ON THE TOP OF MY HEAD!!!
Then came the finals, We were stoked, we knew we wouldn't do the best but we tryed our hardest. First game was against the temptest, I ran to my bunker off the brake (the 30) but while shooting I took a hit to my vert feed neck the ref pulled me and I was like what?? Where am I hit!!! He says check your vert feed I'm like, O **** sorry man. Joe then gets shot out but Lumpy takes 2 down with him. Our next game is against the dogs of war red, the best 3 man team in Canada, off the break we stayed back to the back 3 bunkers then some nut in the crowd (I think it was Joe's dad hehehe) told me to move to some barrels but I thought he said run the 50 so I'm at the 45 in a matter of 7 seconds I take 2 shots to thwe shoulder and keep running Im at the 47 and get pegged by a lobbed ball in the mask. Then Lumpy gets shot out and finally Joe takes 1 dog down with him and almost another but time ran out. Our last finals game Was a wierd one, I ran to where I was suppose to be, the 30 (I was thinking about running the 50, I probably should have) and sat for a while an Iron Maiden was calling out people for me (In the 3 man coaching on the sidelines is allowed) so I was just hosing paint then she screams he making a bunker move, He's making a bunker move!!! So I jump out take 2 hits to my stomach but fell so I was sure if they broke or not, if they broke I wiped it (this was not intentional) I start railing paint at the guy and he is railing at me hitting me 5-6 times I'm just shooting and shooting then 2 refs jump on me (LOL!!) I look over and Joe and Lumpy are in the deadbox.
We ended up coming in 4th place not bad since neither me nor Joe have played 3 man and we were facing some damn hard teams.
No comment on 5 man...
