ok i just used my impulse with LPR, slik shot, ND GMFV, and ss rat hole today in a tourney

the gun shot great even though we didnt do to well (got to play against al the stacked Am teams playing in the rookie/nov. ONLY tourney :( )

so i've already shot about 1500 rounds and it's running like a champ, but all of a sudden i start getting FSDO worse and worse

eventualy it gets to where 2 or 3 shots dont leave the barrel and the 3rd pushes the first 2 out at a VERY low velocity....so needless to say we got hammered that game, so i go back to the stagin area and degas the gun and try to cycle the bolt and it is like 10 times harder to cycle than a imp with stock internals!!

so i take out the hammer assembly and look at it and try it again, and still the same problem....there are no scratches on the ram, and i tried applying a small amount of grease to the ram and cycling it and it still didnt work

i took off the back cap and ran a qtip thru it to make sure there was no shell or gunk in there (there souldnt be neways) and there was a little bit of residual grease...and it still didnt work!!

it was like 40-60 degrees out depending on where u were and fairly windy but i dont think the weather affected it THAT MUCH!!

could there be something ON the ram that i cant see? how would i go about getting the hammer off and taking out the ram so i can look for stuff on it? is that a good idea or should i just send it back in to EPBO??

any and all help is welcome!

thanks
Cris Polilli

EDIT: i only chopped one ball that day and i cleaned it up fairly well before i went out again, and i was using a brand new battery in the gun

You take the hammer/ram assembly out by unscrewing the big black cap thing on the back you your gun above the grip frame (right next to your on/off button).

just take that out and youll see everything you want!

i've done that...i'm talking about taking OFF the hammer and ram OFF the housing

i've already looked over the actual assembly itself

i'm really looking for some insight from FOM/mipaint because i dont really want to take off my hammer and ram myself unless i'm pretty sure i can fix it
