Paintball Gernades

How many of you actually use paintball gernades frequently during games?

Well, c4pyro and myself decided to try some a while ago, buying 5 of the squad busters. First of all they are by no means a "grenade". A grenade explodes. The squad buster skwirts paint. Secondly they are way too expensive. Thirdly, only 3 outta the five actually worked. And yes, we know how to use them: whip them as hard as you can against a hard surface, ie wall, tree, ground etc.

I don't use squadbusters.

i've had the squadbuster for 3 years and found no use for it so far.

dont buy squadbusters they just suck spend the money on more paint

i agree, greandes suck and are too expensive..but i got a good deal on a pack of 2 for 5 bucks so i tried them. although they suck, they are still a lotta fun.. heres my story:

Well i saw an enemy and we both ran up to teh same bunker..so we were 5 inches from each otehr, separated by a wall that ran 10-12 ft in length. so i toss over a squadbuster over. so now im just smiliing to myself cause i know i got him. 5 seconds later, a ref walks around the bunker covered in paint. OOPS! :eek: it gave me and my buddies some laughs

they are fun to throw at your friend in a rec game, hehe but then your friend shoots you in the behind at pointblank and you have to sit on a donut for a week cuz your caboose hurts

I have actually seen a gernade go to good use. At the place I go to, there is this field with a large fort. A lot of times people get bunkered very badly in there. Anyway, my friend had two gernades on him. He decided to quickly run up to the fort and hurl them in. After he threw them and ran back you hear, "Gernade! Gernade! Everybody out!" People just start running out of the fort. As they do they just get owned. The gernades got 3 people out. It was cool.

i have seen a whole team get out of newbies they were behind a bunker and i threw a grenade and the whole team got out...ha ha ha they sucked

but gernades never have much use. if you are close enough to use it, SHOOT THE GUY!

Cool! Since we are on the topic of pyrotechnics, my friends on the 4th of july set an empty milk jug on fire with a morning glory. I have no clue how they did it. Just thought that was cool. :)

I think it would take more then 1 shot to bunker someone :)

1 paintball costs somewhere between $0.04 and $0.09.

And to bunker someone it takes more then 1 shot..it was just a joke but i dunno what your reply meant

Pmi premiums only cost me $0.025 per ball. That is why $0.09 sounded like a lot to me.
