asa leaking

my asa is leaking on my Bd basic. it keeps leaking out of the velocity adjustment screw. I have tried tephlon tape but thats no use and I have tried, screwing it in and out but it always leaks just a tiny bit. enough to irritate me. how do I fix it? I may end up just locktighting it in there.

Is it leaking through the threads or is it leaking in the side of the thread wall? Because if it's leaking through the side of the thread wall then there's probably a crack in there.

does'nt matter now. I locktited the screw down
