I went to a hockey game a while back and on the little TVs which they have around the concourse, they had paintball showing before the game started.

I think it was just rec-ballers tho and not actual tournament play, as they were playing in woods.

But, anyway I digress :) I vote a resounding BIG YES to paintball being on regular TV :D

Why can't PIGTV get their own channel? I thik it would be popular too, because people that dont play would watch it also i think.

it is a possibility. Speedball doesn't take that much room or equipment to set up. The dirt bike events and mountain climbing events are much more complicated to set up and take much more room. In one of the dirt bike arenas you could have like 3 good sized speedball fields.

In the next 3 years we will (hopefully) have a show. Paintball is still young and misunderstood by lots of angry mothers.

i agree! too many golf shows...espn 2 should have it..after all it focuses more on the extreme sports. bmxing, skateboarding, rollerblading, street lunges or whatever...paintball would fit perfectly. what would be tight to see the x-games try-outs..see wich teams make it to the x games...hehe and then the best of the best play there! avalance, aftershock, shockwave, all americans, team strange...etc

well, there is always the public access stations. If you are really that serious about it. then go out and make your own show. THAT should be the first step

Paintball on TV would be a great idea. I remember like 8 years ago, when speedball was still a fresh idea, espn2 or somebody aired paintball. It was a mini-series of a tourney tryin' to promote the sport. I think this was the sametime or so, when the kids in CA or somewhere, filmed themselves drive by paintballin' people. I wonder if any of you remember that incident. But I remember for a fact, paintball was on TV. Too bad the show didn't stay for long. I'm not sure what was the deciding factor to cancel the show, viewer turnout, too much violence?

I honestly think paintball is the sport of the future...Safe!, Action packed!, Fun! We need a show to give all those angry mothers the right idea about paintball. (hehe) And considering that paintball players make up a group of about 6.5 million people...I'm sure some decent ratings could be acheived. That is if the show is marketed correctly, SO I KNOW ABOUT IT! :)

If you bring it onto TV pre-maturely it will die, I don't think its big enough right now to be on TV all that much. If it flops, it's probably flopped for the next few years on tv.

If a company makes a paintball show, they could possibly be sittin on a gold mine. It would get lots of younger people hooked just be letting them watch the show. You all know how addicted kids get to new things! The show should be sponsored by the likes of JT, DYE, Diablo, WGP, the big guns. Plus, you'll need paintball commercials in between breaks, something that I don't think has been done yet (besides on pigtv). Still a long way before we get a pball show. Anyone tried pitching the idea of a pball show to a broadcasting company?

Paintball, the best sport ever to exist, deserves it's own TV STATION!!! I'd love to see it on TV. I only saw it once, and it ended with one guy doing a dead man's walk to the other end of the field and shooting the other team in the back, it was cool.

yes it would be awesome, and why not. They show many more agressive sports on tv. Hunting, wrestling(fake), boxing. Why not paintball! if they were to show it Im sure there would be many complaints from angry parents to the show but who cares. People who have been paintballing havent cared what their parents have said to them. It would even be good if some team just taped themselves shooting out in the woods and that aired, I mean you can find anything on tv now, why not paintball.

and i seriously dought paintball will be in the olimpics for one the sports only 20 years old
