automatic guns

um, buddy, by NPPL and many other rules, guns can only do one trigger pull/one shot. they already ARE outlawed in competitions, unless you mean all electros CAPABLE of it? thats dumb.

Full auto mode, sure why not. Automatic markers no. Think of it this way. 2 guys have timmies, one is stock with automatic capability. He cant compete. The other guy has bought Bob's chip that is semi only but when combined with no ROF cap and massively shortened debounce timing (AHAHAHAHAHAHA TECHNICALLY SEMI, BUT NOT!!!) he can shoot around 17 balls per second, and still be allowed by the "ban autos" logic. Sorry, but no. Personally, I cant wait to shoot faster in semi than my current full auto can come close to. Muahaha :)

i've never seen a full auto gun, my gun can shoot full auto but i can shoot faster :D also i'm not aloud to use any of the extra modes, and i have no reason to 'cuz i shoot faster (stock bushies have full auto capped at a meager 9bps)

most full auto guns can only shoot 9bps like mine. i can shoot much faster 14bps in semi mode

Auto guns sure are kool but not when they are firing at you =)


we also need to remeber the people who don't find paintball a legitiment sport.....what are they gonna think when they see a reativly small light weight "weapon", capable of doing serious damage when not used properly, shooting off 13 shots a second in full auto mode???....Think about it...

i like to have the person TRYING to eliminae have to work on the trigger not just hold it down and hose my bunker. i like the fact that it doesnt matter if you spend $2000 on your gun if im still faster on my trigger than you (talking strictly ROF, not gonnna get into other characteristics of gun) basically what i am saying is full auto is for 2 kinds of people, lazy people, or those who are really slow on the trigger and i am neither so go ahead use your F/A to me it show your one of the above.

yeah, but by the time he hits you, he ran out of paint.... besides i think its just pointless to play in full-auto, many people including myself can shoot faster than full-auto can go...

I think they should keep it Semi Auto in tournys. Fully automatic just isnt the same. I kind of like the idea of having to get the rate of fire from yourself and not the gun. It takes more skill and sets you apart from other people.
