Do you really need a ball detent? If so, what is the best one out there and where can I find it?
Yup! One comes inside the gun, you really don't need to buy another.

depends on what kind of hopper your using then the eclipse ones are nice however i donot recommend them because they are weak(not necessarily a bad thing on most hoppers) which with a halo or halob the balls will get pushed past the detent double loading or worse

Hey mind if I ask, what paint do you prefer when temp is above 45 degrees? Below 45 degrees?

I got an imp comming in, and the paint always matters. Even with a progressive i still recomend both paints i listed above.

The stock detens work fine with a halo.

have you ever wonderd why there are 500 detents from radom companies for cockers, and then only a few for imps?
The Eclipse detents are nice for a revvy or egg1. With a force feeding hopper like the egg2, halo, and Halo Belt drive aka Halo B you are going to need a stiffy detent. The stock detents are prefectly fine for them. If you throw a Eclipse Detent on with a Halo B or egg2 you are going to get some double feeds. Stick with the stock detents. there is no good reason to replace them.

The evolution 2 is not a forcefed loader meaning the eclipse detents will work with it. Halo is the only loader that you need to worry about doublefeeding with.

Last time i checked it was, explain how it could feed 17 a second just by falling?

it feeds 17 for the first 3 shots
the rest averages out to bout 13 or 14
it is only "force fed" for the first 3 or 4 shots, the rest are pretty much gravity ulike the halob where there is CONSTANT pressure on the paint;)

cocker kid im not looking for an argument, but there is suposivly a some what kind of pressure on the balls. In no way i thought it was similar to the halos, but there is someone. Crappy or not.

yes, there is pressure, and it "force feeds" the first 3 or 4 balls ONLY, all the other ones, the egg acts as a revi, and just gets the balls in the tube
