Hey,
My BD has been leaking the past few days and I cant figure out why. First of all, I bought an Omega Valve and a 32º spring kit for my black dragun. Well, after I installed these, there seems to be a leak coming out of the barrel, so i am thinking it has to do with the valve somehow. I tried replacing the o-rings, and I also made sure that the valve was in right and it still leaks the same. What's my problem? I have read other threads but I cant seem to find out this same exact problem w/ someone using the same type of valve as me.
If it helps, I have a light spring in the valve and a heavy striker spring.
Thanks,
Rob

get the black magic cup seal. it cost a bit more but it is worth it.

I replaced the cup seal w/ the one that came extra with one of my Spyder's, and the gun still leaks... Do I need a better cup seal (like the black magic one or something)??

you could have put the valve in backwards, put the bigger whole toward the front.

Is it leaking from anywhere else ??? Mine was leaking once what seemed like down the barrel put I put plumers tape (cant remeber the name of it) and wrapped it around the threads on the foregrip and the "LPC" and it stopped it.

Here's one more thing to try. The valve set screw might not be in tight enough. Put some teflon tape around it and put it in not too tight but snug. If it's in too tight It might restrict too much air flow and you might strip the threading.

if you have a proshop nearbye you could go there and ask them what they think could be the problem. My proshop is like 5 minutes away so its easy for me.

im not sure how i fixed it, but i put some teflon(<--spelling?) tape on the regulator and lpc, and then i tried screwing in my tank. well, it leaked. Then, i tried lowering the psi and viola, it worked; no more leaks. i have my gun running now at 500 psi and it shoots great. hopefully when i get a better regulator and va i will lower the pressure some more.
thanks for your help,
rob
