I've noticed that many a young player (not all, mind you) often cry to their parents if they get tagged. I find this rather rediculous, as the parent(s) then try to yell at the person who tagged them, like me.

Example.

Speed Ball game. It starts. I fire cover shots while moving to a bunker. I gog some kid (heaven hath no fury like a crazy piranha noob like I) and when the game ends, this angry parent comes over a b*itches for cheating his son out of a game. I simply say, "Word" because he called my a 'gangsta' in his ravings. Wierd....

Well, anyways, if anyone has any crazy parent stories, post em here!!

Nothing quite like yours. I have a family friend thats a 6th grader, his mom is like way over-proctective. She won't let him ride his bike farther than half a mile, play tackle football, or other stuff. She finally let him play lacrosse...

So of course, he's not allowed to play paintball, not even allowed to shoot a paintball gun. Over-protective parents, grrrr. Thank god for my dad, ehehhe.

One time I bunkered a kid in front of his mom at a speedball field, he came off crying and swearing. His mom stood there and laughed at him, saying he was the one who wanted to play, and what I did didn't seem illegal to her. (No bunkering rules enforced at my field.)

Wow, I almost wish someone like that would come up to me, the ensuing conversation would be hilarious.

lets have a bit of respect for the parents who don't have any idea that paintball is not just about shooting people and that it is the # 1 most safe sport (according to US Gov.)

Wait NoobPaintBaller, your friends mom won't let him play football, but let him play lacrosse? I play lacrosse, and you get the crap beaten out of you.

i wish a parent would try to chew me out, they forget that i have a paintball gun and they dont know of my unparalleled sarcasm and that i play hockey. to finish them off, just tell them their kid sucks at paintballing.

If your kid who found out about this sport and begged you to let him try it out, you let him go play and he gets bunkered or shot a lot, would you be laughing at him, or would you be upset that your child was hurt because he was new. I would be pissed in some cases, others I would be laughing like some parents.

You have a paintball gun, you have sarcasim, you play hockey, and you still suck at paintball, if you think its cool to get in people's face because you think you're better than them, than you best go back to your little game of gliding across frozen water slamming a little piece of plastic around with sticks.

First game of paintball I ever played, I thought I was a "bodmon" with my rental VM 68. It was an indoor field, and I decided to chase after some guy who ducked behind a big wooden board. He popped back up and gogged me, I was only in the game for about 1 minute. My dad laughed.
