There is no comparison at all, the ultralite is by far a superior barrel to the 2k2 aa.
The all american has so many problems it isnt even funny, lets start with its inferior honing, did you guys know that an all american is just a 2 piece barrel with the same honing as a progressive or teardrop meaning it cant possibly shoot any better than those barrels. And since it cant shoot any better means your basically paying 35 dollars extra for a bunch of hype with its new great 2 piece ability design.
And if that wasnt bad enough the all american has the crapiest quality put into it (Well freak is pretty bad too but lets not get into that) When you first get the all american it will prolly work very well, and then after a while when you keep unscrewing it and screwing it apart it will start to lose its "trueness" Meaning where the front and back of the barrel align will become mismatched, or a gap will form between the two, this gap can cause all sorts of problems, the biggest one is its constant paint breakage, you'll be lucky to get 1 out of 10 balls out of your barrel with this gap presant.
Now the ultralite on the other hand, there is a quality barrel, it has been honed much better than the lesser quality dye barrels (xcel, dye aluminum ect...) meaning your getting one of the best shots out there for a single bore barrel. And even though the ultralite is a 2 piece barrel, they dont have the same 2 piece design problem that the all american has with the barrel losing its "trueness" halfway down there. So basically the ultralite will be a great barrel the whole time you own it, its well worth the money. By far my favorite barrel on the market. So please spring for a quality barrrel off the bat, get the ultralite.
