Ok guys I got a big loader delema. Stock impulse board can go 13.7 bps if im not mistaken. And my revy with xb can not feed a consistant 13, is there anything i can get to put in my revy to make it keep up with the impulse, so i dont have to buy a halo or evolution. Have you people here ever had problems chopping with revy's on stock imps before? I can generally shoot a consistant 14 if i try (walking) and i'll do that if i have to. But the last thing i want is for my impulse to chop. And it seems silly to spend 70-110 dollars on like .7bps of a ball difference. So what do you guys suggest I do?

Also is there anybody here with a halo on your impulse, if so does it make the marker feel too top heavy or unbalanced, or anything bad like that that can affect your performance while playing?

i think you will be fine with a 12vt

when i had my vision on, the revi kept up very well while ripping through the whole hopper un stopped. of course it caught itself a few times, but in strings of 5 or 6 it'll be good

Yea i gots a halo on my imp. I feel it balances really well, moreso than the evlution2(that thing makes ur marker MAD back heavy). N e ways, if I fell that it is comfortable and can shoot well with it, then you should be able to. And it really isnt as big/ heavy as ppl make it out to be. So, if you have some money Id definitely go with the halo. Also, it will greatly benifit you when you do get a vision system.

for one the revvy with x-board and impellor can do like 11bps. I know it sas 13bps but it's to sell it. I have tested it many times and its not 13. Even with 11 it has gaps. So im not saying you cant do a consistant 14, but it's not likely you will be needing to get a higher speed hopper for the impulse. BUT! Vision does help, and it's always nice to have a faster loader for when you just let all hell lose. The Warped Sports Revvy Board is also supose to be better and feed faster. look into that more.

Well, i'll just say right off the bat that vision is completly out of the question, I dont even want to get into that. Im looking for loaders, if i can get more peoples opinions on the evolution 2 and halo on the impulse with a balanced feel that would be pretty good. Im Prolly going to go off to my proshop when my impulse comes in and try out a few different loaders there to see which is the best. But i still want opinions from your past experiences people, all is appreciated thanks again.

I use a halo on my impulse. It works perfectly, and with the ND No-Rise the gun is not top heavy or tipsy at all. I did have to send my cricket vision board into Smart Parts to have it reprogrammed to work properly with the Halo in vision mode though, that was a pain. Something about increasing the volts to the eye the tech said since the halo feeds to fast for the eye to read it. But, other than that.. The halo/impulse setup is great!

well, with that said, i would go for the egg2, since it only feeds a consistent 14 anyway :|

the turbo board from WAS is not in production right now. they will come out with one by summer. Halo is balanced fine, but if you have 1 detent don't get it because it WILL double feed. i'd keep your revvy for right now, unless you get a better trigger.

i got an impulse and all i have for a hopper is a 12vt with the x board and impellers. it performs flawlessly. the impellers only cost $7, and for that price it works a lot better than most people think.
