OOh, bad idea with the barrel, sorry:(
Should have got the flatline barrel, some kind of remote, and if you had enough, a f/x collapsible stock or response trigger.

i considered it, but my friend got one and it worked like **** :( , so i figured that i would rather just spend half that on a quite, accurated barrel
thx anyway

you could always look at the thread titled... UPGRADES THREAD...

don't listen to 98customcrazy though...

with $200... i'd say... pick up a vertical adapter... palmers stabalizer... anti-syphen... revi... and a nice drop...

You have to stretch them a little, but they will fit.

psssssst... you forgot one very crutial thing... the regulator... if your getting the lp kit... you need a reg... or an adjustable tank...

and i've heard that soaking the stickies in nice hot water helps...

what does a reg do any way, and why should i get one?? (i use co2 if that means anything)

kdogg937

oh, should i get an expansion chamber insted of a reg?? i don't plan to use the tippmann lp set up. and if so, what is a good one

i took and just ordered a reg for my gun saturday.........i say go with the reg but what ever floats your boat

i know this make's me sound like a complete newby ( i'm not) but what does a reg even do. i kno an x-chamber lets the liquid co2 expand into gas so u dont freeze ur gun or mess up ur o- rings, but wut does a reg do, and is it worth the extra money?

a reg will do much more an expansion chamber will ever do...

it regulates the pressure so your shots are constant. unlike the expansion chamber, which only allows co2 to expand.

oooh ok, so not only does a reg let the co2 expand, it also makes sure that u are using the same amount of pressure so that u dont have spikes in velocity, right?

E r y k
03-03-2003, 01:58 PM
yes it decreases spikes alot, but it wont prevent it...

i plan to get a m98 verticle adapter, a dead on pro blade drop forward, and a System X vengance inline regulator. will this all fit on my gun?? and wut sort of new air hose do i need to make this all fit together???

kdogg937
03-03-2003, 03:37 PM
would a macro line work to jion all of these things together on my 98c?? or should i use a micro line?? wut is the difference??

E r y k
03-03-2003, 03:41 PM
you want macroline not micro. micro might look good but constricts airflow.

kdogg937
03-03-2003, 03:45 PM
so a macroline fiting is wut i need to join the drop and the reg together right??

E r y k
03-03-2003, 03:46 PM
macroline fittings and macroline hose.

kdogg937
03-03-2003, 03:53 PM
right that's wut i meant, and do u know if that stuff will all even fit on my gun??

E r y k
03-03-2003, 03:57 PM
yes it should... the vertical adapter goes into the valve, the reg goes into the vertical adapter, the drop goes under the grip, and the hose will connect the reg to the drop :)

you might wann alook into a palmers stabilizer for a regulator instead, works very well with co2. (get the male)

or you could take it to the pro shop.. and have them give your the right size steel braided hose...

yea

kdogg937
03-04-2003, 12:34 PM
would a braided hose work better than a macroline??

kdogg937
03-04-2003, 12:48 PM
has ne one heard anything about the tippmann regs?? are they any good?? i figure i will eventually get a palmer, but i'm considering all my options

heyheyhey
03-04-2003, 01:39 PM
:atten:
system x

get a stabilizer, it does a BETTER job of keeping liquid co2 out of the gun than an x chamber, and is a VERY good reg, in fact, i run one on my cocker;)

but other than that, everything look good:)
