I know somebody starting a team and I need a new gun. The BKO has the best preformance for the price but the B2K3 has different firing modes. Can you use the 3 & 6 shot burst or full auto in tournaments or is it semi only? What gun do you think I should get?

I havent heard of a field, let alone a tourny that allowed modes. Tournys are semi only.
The choice is up to you, but my BKO(in my sig) can run with higher end electros.

Stock, the b2k3 will obviously beat the bko but once fully upgraded with both, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Then it just comes down to a opinion on style. The Murder Inc. bko is pretty sexy but you do pay quite a pretty penny for it.

My friend bought one a little over a week ago, and he was gracious enough to let me try it out. My impression was damn it motherfu[ker this thing is phuckin dope. The frame was that of the 2003 Bko and that was as light and short as the high end markers out there. If you've got 5 bills, get it. I've shot Angels, Cockers, Impys and Bushys and let me tell you that this gun has Phenominal potential up the hizzy. We tried to rip the gun and it outshot my 12v Revvy w/ xboard and vortex impeller. If you get this gun, you're gonna need the eVoII loader at the very least.
Trust me, you'll be able to hang with the rest of the sponsored, undeserving, ungrateful biotches I'm insanely jealous about.

well thewarmonk is wrong, u won't need an evo2. Mabey a ricochet, or a 12/x board. Your Cocker should do fine.

Yes, cockers are great tourny gun.
The 2k3 would be a better option if you intend to fire extremely fast. Bkos can't go much past 18bps maxed out. 2k3s can do 22bps. Also the eye is a nice feature. You can have it installed on a bko but you'd be waiting forever. Also the anti chop upgrades that are about to come out won't be available for the bko for quite a while.

1. The eye slows down your rate of fire
2. The eye i heard was also problematic (I heard they tried to fix this but without avail). To me, just another thing to worry about.
3. The MI BKO I shot came with the new 2003 frame and according to MI, when you hit the "sweet spot" it's capable of 20bps. This I can testify too. shot about 150 balls in a little over 7 seconds.
4. It OUTSHOOTS a 12revvy w/Xboard. A ricochet might pull but in my opinion the EvoII looks better and holds more, yes more than a richochet, by about 50 balls in many tests. Also, ever had a ball break inside the Ricochet? Phuck that shiet.

yea, thats a muder inc. bko, we are talkin about the stock bko. and the stock bko will not out shoot a 12v/x board.

False, it will not slow down your rate of fire. It will only allow the marker to fire if there is paint in the breech. This in turn helps elminate chops
2. The eye i heard was also problematic (I heard they tried to fix this but without avail). To me, just another thing to worry about. What problems might those be? I had one of the first B2K's to come out with the PDS and it never gave me any problems, if anything it helped save me from problems.
The ICD PDS is a dual eye system. The transimitter is located on one side of the marker and the reciever is located on the other side of the marker. It simply sendsa beam of light across the marker. When the light is not present the marker may fire. By using this system you eleminate the problems with different color'd paints because the light is not reflected off of the ball. The only problem I have ever heard about with the eye involve the Chaos or Tantrum chip. This is caused when people turn their marker on while the PDS switch it set in the off position. The Chaos software looks to see if the switch is on at startup. If it isnt it wont look for it again. In turn the marker will not use the eye no matter how many times you turn the PDS switch on and off. To activate the PDS you must turn the marker off, turn the PDS on and then turn the marker back on. Now you can use the marker with the PDS system. You can even turn the PDS on and off.

When I buy a B2K3 will I need to order macro line and 90 degree fittings or do they come in the box with the gun?

The muder inc. bko is the same as a stock bko, but without the nice milling.
As for speed...the bko has the electronics to do 20bps, but the gun itself cant operate at such a high rof. The spring feed cant return fast enough after 17bps.
Also, ShootPaint gave correct information in both of his replies...i just dont feel like repeating him.

Is there anyway you can shoot the BKO past 17BPS.

Not really, the mechincs of the marker top out at this point whether you are talking about a stock BKO, a MI BKO, or a tricked out BKO. Also, unless you are running a HaloB and your finger is on speed, this probably won't be an issue. Sweet Spot or no, this is the only hopper that would keep up it this rate of fire.
