I love my BKO to death but my only gripe is that its a tad inefficient. i am getting about 500 good consistent shots with a 14 ounce co2 tank.
my setup is 400 pounds on my centerflag bottomline reg, 200 pounds on the primary reg.....and tuned accordingly on the LPR for my velocity requirements. and the BKO is completely stock......stock valve and bolt, etc.
i have read that the BKO is supposed to be quite efficient and a couple of people are getting 900+ off a 12 ounce.
my thinking is that it has the "shocker syndrome" being too low pressure for its own good. and that i should crank the pressure up to about 220 or so......and tune the lpr accordingly and check out the consistency and velocity then?
what do yall think?

900+ of off a 12oz!!! Where did you hear that?
500 shots off a 14oz sounds like its right to me. I suggest looking into a bigger tank, such as a 20oz on off/antisiphon or a 68/3000 nitro tank. Then match it up with a AKA Mitey Max and Vapor Valve. You should see a great increase in efficiency.

500 shots off a 14oz tank does sound a bit low. I'd expect that from a 800 psi spyder, but not from a BKO. Keep in mind temperature plays a big role. A litte more info on where you play might help.

All i know is that i get 900-1000 shots off of a 20oz tank. LP doesnt always mean more efficient.

yea look at the shocker and the matrix... one of the most LP marker guns and they have horrible efficiency/

ah okay i was getting a bit worried
the conditions i play in right now are mid 50 to 60 degree weather at 6500ft elevation here in New Mexico.
im gonna get me a 20 ounce tank and run it on a remote setup to see how she operates. thanks for the input folks. so i should just leave my settings as is?
so in theory, my efficiency should definitely come up once the weather is warm/hot again right?
thanks

yeah, that's about right. The warmer it is, in theory, the more liquid CO2 will evaporate. liquid = bad gas = good
