y do you hate brass eagle?
most of you have used like a talon or stingray to start paintballin but then it breaks and u hate all of the brass eagle stuff!

I actually did a poll a while ago. the results were that like 47% of all who voted started with a brass eagle. thats alot, seeing as how braddeagle has like 10 guns, and there are a couple hundred more that they could have started with. BE got me into paintbaling, and i thank them for that. i really dont mind brass eagle. i just wont buy BE products (yes i will still buy JT, Viewloader, cause theyre still quality things) i wont discriminate aginst JT, and VL because they are owned by BE... after all, its just a name.

i dont think brass eagle should make cheap guns tho cause some people just buy them cause there 19 dollars and then pop some 9 grames in which is like 2 more dollars and there off to go vandalise i think they should disconetinue all there plastic guns and just stick with the guns that are arouind 100 for serious people that want to start paintballing

There cheap guns are what attract a lot of the people to the sport. If people knew how much paintball was going to cost before they got into it, then they would probably never get into it. Oh, and they're 12 grams, not 9 grams. :)

you can't ban cheap guns idiot. I hate BE as much as the next guy, but you can't ban them. that is like saying huffy can no longer make bikes. If 47% of people started with brass eagle and you take it away, then half of the future players won't play, because they dont have the money to start with a more expensive gun.

I can't lie, I started with a BE Stingray II, but what can ya do. It's is an inexpensive (Not necessarily cheap) way to get into the sport. I'll always keep my Stingray II even though I have moved on to better things. (Unless someone will give me $1000 dollars for it, then we'll talk).

you can say what you want about the quality of their products but you have to hand it to them otherwise. they introduced paintball to millions of players. they put their products in big chain stores. they made enough money to buy the companies that make two of the best selling items in paintball history, the jt mask and the revolution loader.

with out BE, i dont think this sport will be as popular as it is now. people see the sport of paintball and think wow. that looks very fun but i dont have a big budget. so they buy a brass eagle gun to start out and this gets them hooked. then after they played for a while they should go for a better gun like a decent blowback. i dont get why everyone hates BE. if you dont like their products, dont buy 'em. its as easy as that.

BE plays a big role in the paintball industry! I started off with Brass Eagle, and so did my other friends. I don't hate Brass Eagle for making crappy guns at all. If it wasn't for them I would never be into paintball right now!!!! I give props to BE for that!

Brass Eagle plays a big part in attracting new players to the sport! And without them how do you guys expect paintball to grow, or to be on TV!!?? sure BE might not make the best gear, but the probably do more for paintball then you realize!

Lets see, when I was still into shooting birds with my air rifles I saw a raptor at Wal-Mart...it looked awesome, was expensive to me at the time...I thought it was probably the best paintball gun out there. Little did I know...now 4 years later I own 3 guns, none BE. I never have have owned a BE gun, although I almost bought a tigershark for messing around in the woods. I still remember the people saying it was an awesome gun at the counter, LOL. Tis fun to remember thy newbness!
