Grand prizes for tourney, which would be the best

My field will be hosting 4, 3 man and 5 man tourneys next year. And i was wondering which one of these would make the best grand prizes.

Everybody likes nitro tank. However, the free field fees and lower prices on paint is a really nice idea too.

I was really torn between nitro systems and 18 talons. I eventually came around to nitro systems, because the 18 talons would only last a couple months.

I dunno if i would want to buy 3 mags for the winners. If you have to supply the prize yourself..just do free air/fieldfee

But if i were a player and i won i would want the 300$ gift certificate. so you can spend it on whatever you want.

I voted for paint since it is the most expensive, recurring cost in the sport, although I'd also have voted for the reduced field fees and paint costs if I could vote twice.

a tourny in cali at sc village... their grand prizes is 5 sto autocockers... of course wgp is sponsoring it so, its like throwing pennies away for them. but what would be cool, is a 5 man sup'air ball set, or digger shoes, clothes, jerseys, and more gear, 40 cases of paint (8 cases for each player), or air systems.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I would be hard pressed to shoot 4 cases of paint before it goes bad. Especially since most fields (at least around here) are FPO. Also, if you do give paint, you should let them choose between some different brands. It would suck to get 4 cases of paint that don't fit in your barrel (good argument for a freak I guess)

i would definetly want the 12 cases of paint!!!! think about it how much 12 cases of paint is thats saving alot of money! say 1 case=$60 so 12 cases= damn 1 sec let me grab my calculator :) ok 12 cases=$720 thats saving alot of money

i would say low end electro. if i won i would sell it and make prob $400 unless its a rainmaker. then i prob wouldn't be in the tourny.

I think its 12 cases a TEAM. if its 5 guys it would be like 2 1/2 cases each guy.

My field is located in central Iowa, its not open yet, but will open next spring and will be called Wolf Creek Paintball. Thanks for all the help guys, I'll probably use most of the ideas up on the list, just change them around from tourney to tourney. Thanks agian.

Personaly I'd choose the free 12 cases of paint option jus' because mathmaticaly you stand to save around $120 more than if you chose the "free field admission/half price paint" thingie.* But only if I could choose the paint. If not I'd take the free field admission.

*I was doing my calculations based on my field costs. No doubt it will be different with yours.

any of those would be good(accept the 18 talons) but I would go with the $300 certificate, becasue chances are, the winners would already have the safety epquipment, low end electros, high end semis, ect., so let them spend the money on the things that they need.
