hey guys, I had a question. I recently installed a vision cricket on my imp. I need a certain drill bit to enlarge the hole for the power button, but i can't find it anywhere!!! I've gone to all sorts of hardware stores and this particular bit (#26, 3.75mm) just does not exist where i'm at. So i just installed my whole vision stuff without the power button. I now turn on my imp by gently using an allen wrench and sticking in the power hole. I don't forsee any probs, but what do ya'll think? I'm hoping to find that drill bit someday, but for now i just love playing with my vision imp!!!

Should not be a problem. Especially since to adjust the Dwell you do the same thing.
The only issues you might have is that if you have vision and need to turn it off in the middle of a game you will not be able to.
all you have to do is fined a convertion table or look at a metric ruler to fined out how big that is in inchis. you kown what i am getting at. like 1/8 3/16 etc you dont have to be persice down to a half a mm becuase you wont fined a standard drill bit that percise you just have to get close get two bits a small and large of what actually is needed then you drill it in stages
The #26 drill is just slightly bigger than 9/64. It is easy to find a 9/64 at any better hardware/tool store
if you use a 9/64, you can drill out the hole, then very slightly enlarge the hole. bee careful here, because if you make it TOO BIG, the on/off will not stay in (then you would have to put in backwards)

I had the same problem with my Imp not having an on/off switch. The biggest hangup was that since the cricket board automatically shuts off at like 20 minutes of inactivity, sometimes I would forget about that while waitin inbetween games. Then, thinking the gun was still on, I'd get ready to play and realize at about the 10-second warning that my marker was shut off. I'd have to get the tiny allen wrench in my pocket and turn the thing on. It was a pain.
I eventually sent my marker to Smart Parts to get fixed for something entirely different and the tech nicely installed an on/off switch for me at no charge.
