View Full Version : I just got ripped off by 888paintball!

Hi
Here's the story. for those who have been in the canada section and read my story, you will understand more. but for those who haven't here is a quick description. I ordered what 888paintball told me was a Intimidator RIpper AS SHOWN on the picture including verbally. I talked to ED 3 times asking him if it was the ripper WITH only 1 barrel and he reassured me 3 times, that YES it was the ripper blah blah blah...... now what i get? oh and its supposed to be olive to black ripper. anyways, i got it yesterday and it was a yellow to black AND its WAS NOT a ripper! it had 3 barrels! its the LE model they sent me! i f*u*c*k*i*n* asked 3-4 times and they told me it was a ripper. how can you be so ignorant? don't you know what you sell? what should i do guys?
PS. PD98, you are a retailer, what do you think?

if i were you i would call them ask to speak to the manager tell him your problem(they might even pay for shipping or a upgrade)return it and get what you want

Because i went through Jeff at Mtn Paintball, he will take care of it for me. you see i live up here and they don't ship up here so Jeff did the order for me, cuz im buyin a delrin bolt from him. and he is gonna lay some serious smackin he told me yesterday. Plus he is a retailer too and his best friend is the manager of Delta so ya i hope everything goes well.

call them up and talk to the manager im sure he will elt u return what u got and give u what u really ordered. You might even get something for free from them if they feel sorry for you. like branchville said

i'm sure they didn't do that on purpose. They have sent me the wrong hoses, fittings, barrel threads, etc. all you have to do is call back and they will 2 day anything they screw up.

Hey Dedagain. are you sure about the 2 day thing? i hope so. because that would be nice. considering i need that marker for a tourney comin up in a week. i was supposed to pratice with it this sunday. now i got nothin. i should get somewhat of an answer from Jeff in about an hour. so lets hope he found a way! did i ever tell you guys he is the best dude on this planet! kick a$$ customer service AND he is sellin timmies for only 650. well regulars ones anyways! only one place cheaper is Onshire online, they have it at 630. but for 20 bux i'd still buy it from him.

heh... I ordered my Pt extreme from them.
I was like... Awww man theyre out of blue. Ill just get silver! Then 3 days later, i open the box and its blue! Its cool, but what if i really wanted the silver. They have color problems i guess.

I did not know they mess up all the time. cool? that was my first order and now i am canned because they promised me a ripper and now there are NO rippers available anywhere! which pisses me off!

Hey everyone
This is the update. I called Jeff, and this is what the story is:
1. Ed from 888paintball tried callin to see if there were any rippers left.
2. NONE are left
3. Im f*u*c*k*e*d
4. He sent ups to pick up the marker he sent me which was an LE with 3 barrels which is not even the right color
5. They want to charge me 20% restocking fees for their mistakes.
6. May not give me my money back, because of a lame excuse that its COD and blah blah blah......
7. So i will get NO marker, and NO money back according to these sluts.
8. May have to wait until next summer to get another marker and maybe part of my money back.
9. I don't know what else to do, please help me out here.
10. I got a tourney comin up in a week. (roast?)

This is why you pay with credit cards so if there is a dispute and it looks like you are gonna get screwed you can call the cc company and do a charge back for non delivery of goods.

Call up whoever is in charge and tell him your story. Chances are they will be nice to you and give you your money back. If not, say that you will report this to the better business bureau. I don't know if it will help you get the gun you want, but it may get your money back. Worth a shot.

well jfoust. the point is not keepin the marker or not. i was promised a product and thats what they should give me. i paid for a ripper and i want a ripper simple enough. if they had told me that it wasn't one then i would have gone to delta or something. unno? if you don't know what you are selling than don't sell it. and especially, don't tell your customer that its a ripper and then when it gets here its not! never the less the wrong freakin color!!what is so hard about pickin a color????i will get a hold of all my sources for this. I don't want my money back anymore, i want my product and the product they told me i would receive! simple, trust me when you start dishin out that kind of money and not get what you want, you would be pretty pissed off too! but if you guys got more ideas, let me know. tks.
