Hey.
I have taken back the Avenger to canadian tire!
in its place i know own a Bruizer Pro with a J&J and a Bigshot barrel... with tons of spare parts.
now i own a gun that i can grow with.....and man is it better...
only paid 350 for the gun barrels, and like a million spare parts!...oh and a case...and the gun was only used 4 times
I would like to know what grips/upgrades someone would suggest for when i dig up more cash!

Bigshots and J&Js are already among the best, you don't need any more. Hmm, I didn't know Traccers could take other barrels, intresting, the barrel costs more than the gun (in value).

You say you have a ton of spare parts?
You wouldn't have a spare or two striker buffers would you?
I lost my original in my outlaw.. I have spent months looking for a replacement.. No call back or followup from Nuline.. I ordered a replacement from paintballgear.com
Unfortunately.. At first they were backordered two weeks, then even though I paid by CC over the phone, and read him my address (Markham, Ontario) which he repeated back to me, but my order still went to Markham, Virginia in the U.S., I called and told him so he re-shipped to my real address. But now it is in Purgatory in UPS Shipping perpetually trapped in Customs, brokerage and UPS internal codes...
here is the log...

So this is whacked.. Sorry for it getting all jumbled.. But I just want people to see what can happen ordering from the U.S.
So it came from Illinois, then to Canada, (about an hour from me), then to Kentucky, the back to Hamilton, then to Kentucky, then to Hamilton, then to New Brunswick, then back to Hamilton, where it is still sitting.. All for a $4.00 piece of rubber / eurethane plastic.
Bullsh!t I say...
Anyone have one or know of somewhere I can grab one local.. so I can just dispense with all these dumb@ss online sales shops..?

The buffer is a rubber piece that is wedge inbetween your springs and velocity adjuster (I think). Look for a small rubber ring that's a little bit thick.

Ok.. Little bit of followup on the situation.
Like I had mentioned earlier on in the thread..
I ordered a replacement $4.95 Spyder striker buffer from
http://www.paintballgear.com, the package according to their records confirmed a package for $4.95 and weighing .1 pounds.
I check with UPS today and the package that actually got sent to me from them is on the order of 10.60 pounds and is insured for over $350.00 Cdn/ 225.00 US.. So talk about one helluva screwup.. So either I will be the proud owner of something new...
Maybe he screwed up and sent me a nice HPA rig.. Or maybe a completely new marker? So its either a screw up or maybe he had a demo unit and felt bad it took over 2 weeks to get me a small and insignificant striker buffer after it travelled to Markham Virginia, then all over half the world to get to Markham Ontario....
It gets delivered tomorrow so I guess I wait and see... ;) The only bad news is that because it was insured for so much I have to cough up $53 for brokerage. :(
