Hey guys! What's up? Now on to the point of this post...I know this has been asked before, but I am having problems finding similar threads. Right now I am running a Spyder Shutter (I know, I know :( ) and I am using a 20oz CO2 that I had anti-syphone installed on. I am planning on buying some type of impulse around May. What I was wondering was, should I buy nitro for the impulse? I was planning on buying nitro very soon (within a week) for my Shutter, and then moving it onto my Impulse. However, I have heard that Impulses run just as well, if not better, on CO2 as they do on N2. Is this true? What type of CO2 tank would I need to run it on my Impulse? What do you guys think I should do? Thanks.

impys will run on co2 fine..... but make sure your anti siphon was made for the asa on the impy not your spyder.

no matter what with co2 on an impy you will still get shootdown..... nitro will probably be your best bet if you can get it.

Co2 won't run BETTER than nitro, but its pretty close. I think itd be a better investment to buy liek a vision system or sum other cool upgrade fo rur gun rather than nitro.

Definitely get an HPA at some point, but its not crucial.

Impys seem to run very nicely on C02 thats been anti siphoned and has on/off valve on it.

Personally, i'd say go with nitrogen though cause its better :D

Theres no question nitros better, but dont ya think itd be a better of an investment to get, oh, say.... an I-Frame?

I've never heard of anyone running an Impulse with Iframe on C02. Personally, i think that idea is really bad even if the C02 is antisiphoned. When you are shooting at like 18 bps with C02 you are running a lot of risks there my friend.

Nitrogen THEN get the Iframe.

I FRAMES FOR LIFE!

Ya, u mite... but whos gonna be shooting 18 BPS in a game? where it really matters to not have shootdown. i think u sohuld be fine.

Hey guys! Well I just ordered my CenterFlag Carbon Fiber Preset 68ci/4500psi Nitro tank last night! But dont worry, I am deciding on getting a custom imp in may. Im thinking maybe the predator impulse. So I'll most likely be getting a freak or something anyway. Now I just have to decide on a fade!

both work fine, nitro is better, no question.... and you will know how many shots you have left (well maybe not, but you can eye the tank gauge down to 0, unlike co2) but when you fire fast, co2 gets cold, and frosty, sometimes REALLY bad, if you dont want that..... nitro! :blah: :eyes:
