Anything Worse Than A Paintball Video Game!?!?

I have to say no there is nothing worse that Half-Life
PaintBall.

Other than the fact that the levels are way to large
(unrealistic) and that your grenades are as bad in the game
as in real life, the game just plain out sucks the big one.

It could have been fun, yet I see no upgrades ever
happening and it could have been fun but the Angels are so
Efing cheap that there is no way you could possibly win
with any other gun(unless you are in a cramped level -
there are no cramped levels).

In conclusion I would just like to say that if you enjoy
this game then you probably just don't play real paintball
or it is raining out so you need a substitute.

I remember playing a paintball mod for quake. This was before I'd ever been paintballing, but even then I could tell it was nothing like real paintballing. It was team based and you had to run around the level picking up better guns, co2, paint and whatnot...some had flags, paint arced, and different guns had different rates of fire and range.

From a video games point of view, it was pretty fun. If you had a pump your chances were slim against someone with one of the guns that rained paint, but it wasn't that hard to find a gun that was good enough. The fact that one shot killed added a lot to the game, made you play cautiously. But in reality, it was nothing close to the paintball experience, and for video games, there were much better mods (team fortress) out there. Haven't played the halflife paintball flavor, but I've played a ton of counterstrike.

There are worse mods out there though, I'm sure. (arg was pretty bad, funny as hell though. :) ) but hey, nothing compares to the 3d world of real life paintball.

In this game you buy your guns and the longer you play the better gun you can get, either way, in this it is everyone angel spraying EVERYWHERE!!

sweet!!! NPPL for dreamcast!!! im gonna get a dreamcast just so i can play that game!!! lol just kidding, but thats pretty awesome. the people actually wear masks, and its available to the public. what a good way to introduce safe, fun, competetive paintball.

You know what? The speedball maps for counterstrike feel more like paintball than half life paintball does :)
Just make sure you get into a server where grenades are disabled.

extreme paintbrawl...... skeery...... i bought the damn thing for 60$$ when it first came out and the graffix on the back looked so cool... but then in the game it was so horrible and plus its all sheridan markers *tip... push the numbers on the top for different players... find the player with a gun that looks like a BE Raptor Extreme... its full auto ^_^

I think paintball video games in general are stupid. Paintball is a simulation of war, or armed combat or whatever you want to call it. So, when you make a Paintball video game, (which is a simulation in itself)then you are simulating a simulation. It's like watching tv in order to watch people watch tv. Paintball is always trying to make itself as realistic as possible, but when you make a game about it, then it just shows how unrealistic paintball is. So, the gaming industry should just stick to makeing shooter games that are realistic, and when people want real realism, they'll go out and actually play paintball, not some paintball video game.
