Today I chronied my cocker and realized something bad The first few shots were 285, then it severely drops (200-230).. Its not the inline reg, any ideas?

I don't know much about auto cockers.....but shouldn't you be using MACROline for better flow...

I beleive it is micro, but My gun isnt low pressure and probably wont be for atleast 6 months... do you think that could matter? ( I doubt it.)

i heard that if you have the bolt upside down, the fps will drop like crazy...you might want to try to flip it around.

Think so? its just a stock bolt, doesnt look like it would matter to me, much less does it look like theres an "upside" to it :)

well I don't know about putting the bolt in upside down causing drop off I don't think it would fire at all but the fact that you are using microline is a big problem look at this

macroline Typically Black line about the diameter of a pecil High flow

microline Typically Black line a little larger than a coffee stirr

the micro line will start a gun to death if it's not running lp next question are you running nitrogen or c02
if nitro make sure you have about 200 psi difference between your nitro tank regulator and your regulator on your gun otherwise the reg on you tank will starve the reg on your gun... if you are unsure if this is the problem crank the reg on you gun all the way out this way it is more or less just a gas thru grip type deal...

Ug.

Well first off your bolt does have an upside down. The hole in the bolt has to be facing down. If it is not your gu nwill not fire.

Second off it is not your line that is causing the problem. Most likely you are getting liquid co2 in your gun. That causes the huge fluzuation. What you have to do is fire all the liquid out of your gun, than repeatedly chrono your gun. It should level off. Once this is done adjust your volocity correctly.

Well the guy also tried it with nitro and it still jumped.

Is your cocker all stock? Have you made any adjustments?

I kinda thought that putting the bolt in upside down wouldn't allow the gun to fire unless you have an aftermarket bolt which has a millied hour glass shape to it where your stock bolt had a hole however i would still check the 2 things I mentioned above the line and the regs...

Well The gun fires at 285 first maybe second shot then DROPS. It does it with CO2/ Nitro, My gun is all stock. except for the Trigger Frame and barrel.

I would say that definately sounds like starvation because the gun when first fired has a complete fresh gas supply fully charged once it fires the gas tries to comes rushing in but before it can recharge of fill the internals of the gun the triggewr is pulled and the result is lower fp due to a restriction of air... try this simple test over a chrono fire the gun once and count to 3 and pull the trigger again if the gun is being starved it will fire with better consistency if you give it a 3 second relief period and this does not keep the velocity consistent you have another problem.
