Hey, I used traded with ccrnnr9 for his Defiant. It's coming in this week! Anyways, I was wondering, anything I need to know about them? I own a Timmy, this is my backup. How many shots should I expect? Are they light? Reliable?

Also, what are the main differences between them and a Bushy?

thanks!

The Timmy is a direct knock off of the Bushy/Defiant. They work exactly the same. The only real difference is the parts that are used to accomplish the job at hand.

The biggest difference in bushys and defints is the barrel threading. Everything else is the same aside from cosmetic differences.

Try them both out and come back and give us a review of the definat in comparison to your timmy. I'm curious as to how it stacks up. It should be pretty close to the same if you have a nice aftermarket chip in the defiant.

Well,I was looking at the internal diagrams for both, they seems quite different. But yeah, I'll test them both out and review it here.

P.S- The Defiant comkes with Mac dev HPR and LPR, and a chaos chip.

The Barrel threading for the Defiant is the SAME. They both use Cocker Threaded Barrels. As far as the design, there is some truth to the fact that Timmies are based on the Defiant/Bushy. Bob Long just wasnt satisfied with the performance and decide to develop the timmy, which would meet his "personal" standards. The Bushy, Defiant has come a long way. I have shot both and would not give my defiant up for the world. I just got a new Zenitram Grip frame (regular 45 not the z-grip) and Tantrum ship from Tank and I can walk my Defiant just as fast as I can walk a Timmy. Defiants/Bushies are great markers, light and not as long as a Timmy, so it is a matter of preferance.

I thought bushies have ICD threading ? only Defiant has cocker threading altho now I believe u can tell ICD to do cocker threading if u order from them ?

neways I love my Defiant, #2640 baby !! Shoots fast, light. Never chop a ball, I wonder why there's so many threads in BKO forum saying that they chop a lot ? And Brix, is ur Defiant an older generation one ? no battery door and 6 finger grooved HPR ? aight, later !

Bkos do seem to chop more from what i've heard. Probably because icd has them set at 15bps and most hoppers don't feed constantly past 9.

I can outshoot my hopper without even trying on my b2k and i have an icd chip still. I'm going to have to fix my evo2 before i upgrade to the chaos chip. :|
