A guy on my team, who currently shoots a 2k2 Timmy, is considering getting a Shocktech Bushmaster. One of his major concerns is weight, which is why he is looking at this particular gun, being it the lightest electro out there. I would like to get some opinions on reliability, performance (compared to an 2k2 Intimidator), I assume it will shoot at similar speeds seen as how it has basically the same board as his SOB, (both 66.6 bps).

I want informed opinions from people who actually know something about both guns please. Thanks for your time and input........

What guns shoot 66.6 bps
The bushy is been said to shoot 22 or something liek that and still i will never see anyone shoot that fast.

no he means the board is capable of 66.6 bps.. which means theres absolutely no board/trigger restrictions so it truly shoots as fast as you're pulling.....

sorry i dont have enough experience with the actual shocktech bushies to give you a very good answer... but from my bushmaster experience, you and him WONT be dissapointed. very reliable, very low maintetence, great performance, all around great markers.

Damn some people have no concept of paintball gun electronics. JT is exactly right, thats what the board is capable of, not necessarily the gun. The WAS EQ board is one million bps, go figure.......

sense bushys work the same way as timmys the performance is going to be close to the same. Make sense? I haven't used either of these guns but that would be my best guess.

The bushmaster's eye is currently the best design in the business.

Rat valves and bolts have always worked great with my cocker so i have no reason to doubt their performance with a bushmaster.

I do think the shockech is overpriced for what you get. For that amount of money you should get a regulator and barrel.

I don't buy the whole lightest electro thing either. Sure it will be a little lighter than a stock bushy but they didn't do any drastic milling to cut the weight.

I'm fairly sure this bushy is still the lightest:
